You might have thought that you were invisible, but he always noticed you. He always saw you in the back of the class, head down, resting on your arms. He saw every tear you shed in that class, he saw all of it. One week, he noticed you wearing long sleeves often in June. He decided then, that he'd commit the rest of his highschool years to making you smile, at least once a week. Hopefully, it would get better from there. '(Y/N), I swear, on my well being! I will make you smile!'

You sighed softly, slumping further into your chair. 'I need to wear longer sleeves tomorrow..' You think to yourself, looking out the window. You were never really confident in yourself, as you knew almost every girl in the school was prettier than you. Totoko-san was a perfect example, with her big eyes and cute smile, you were nothing compared to her. So you hid your body, along with the scars that would forvever be scattered on it, so you wouldn't have to be ashamed of yourself. Now only the first of July, the atmosphere in the room felt different. Jyushimatsu, the usual class clown, was a lot quieter than usual. The class went by normally, aside from his sudden quiet nature. After the bell rang, the yellow clad boy approached you with a gentle smile, different from his usual one. You looked up at him, and muttered a quiet "can I help you, Jyushimatsu-kun?"
His eyes widened, his cheeks turning a bright pink. That was the first time the boy had heard your voice. It was truly angelic in his eyes, soft and sweet. He shook his head and his usual stupid grin returned. "Hi, (Y/N)-san! Want to sit with me during lunch? You and I both seem to be the loners of this class! I need a baseball to my bat!" He half-shouted. You winced a bit at his loud voice, and sighed.
