|Chapter Three|
He walked me home. I wonder if he does like me. I drift off to sleep and get a weird dream. Its K with a knife, his eyes are black and he's all bloody, he turns and looks at me. "Kam, just in time" I try to run away but the more I try the slower I go. He pins me against a wall and holds the knife to my neck. "Shh, shh, it'll be quick." He gives me a devilish grin. I wake up. "Oh you're up; you were talking in your sleep." Dad is there, getting me up for school, the first day. Ugh. "Do I have to go?" I groaned "Yes, I'm sorry. I'll let you get ready." He walks out of my room and shuts the door behind him. I get up and put on my robe and slippers they have stars on them, I open my door and walk over to the bathroom, I brush my teeth brush my hair, adjust my nose piercing and put on my vanilla scented perfume. Yes, I'm a boy wearing perfume. I go back to my room and change into a black shirt, navy blue jeans and black boots, I also put my earrings in; they're little skeletons. I grab my backpack and run down the stairs and Dad passes me some snacks and a water bottle. "Bye Dad! Love you, see you later." "Bye Kam." I walk out the door and K is standing there. I remember my dream. "Oh h-hi K, how are you?" I say nervously "Are you okay?" He walks towards me and I back up "I don't bite, c'mon lets go." He grabs my hand and passes me one of his Airpods and we start listening to Primadonna Girl. I love this song, me and my old friends used to listen to it. "How'd you sleep? You seem tired." He asks "Um, I slept well, thanks for asking." I mumble, a blonde boy walks past us and bumps K's shoulder. "Watch out, goth boy." He laughs "I'm not gothic; I just don't look good in color. Also leave me alone for once, Alex." Alex laughs and walks away "Goth boy? Why would he call you that?" I muttered. He puts his arm around me "Don't worry about it." He smiles.
We finally make it to school. I automatically get tons of looks from a bunch of girls. "I think they like you." I look at K and laugh "Yeah me too." A girl comes up to me and asks for my name, I tell her I'm transgender, it scares her away. What's so scary about a trans person? We walk inside and K guides me to our lockers. "What's the first class?" I ask "Just look on the paper Kam, it's that easy." I look at the paper that the office secretary gave me. "Oh, science, what's your first class?" I groan "Also science, can I have my Airpod back?" I hand him the Airpod and then head off to class
