The Last Tournament

Marie POV

It was the last challenge of the tournament. I have survived the last two challenges, I just need to survive this one. 
I don't know what it is, though. The books always ended at the second challenge, or said that the information is classified. 
Ugh. It must be really bad.
I get ready. I put on a button down, skirt, and my robes. I get my wand, take a deep breathe, and get into the crowd. I am greated by claps.
"This will be the last challenge of the Tournament," announced Dumbledore. 
Then the challenges began, and it isn't physical. It's mental.
They went into the person's thoughts, and presented a challenge that has bugged them for a while. Everyone would see.

Finally, it was my turn.
I plunged into darkness.


I was standing in the forest. There were two paths- both identical and dark at the end.

Then, Mitchell appeared at the left, Calvin at the right.

They were clearly confused. 

Then, - bloody murder!- Voldemort appeared.

"Marie Holmes, you have two paths. You must choose. If you don't, all of you die. You pick, and the person that wasn't picked dies." said he.

I hid my wand in my sleeve.

"Both of you were unkind to me. But I don't want to be the cause of death for both of you, so...."

"MARIE! IT WAS A POLYBOTES POTION! HE USED IT TO MAKE ME SEEM RUDE!" screamed Calvin.

"Well, yes, I used it, but he used it on ME too!" shreiked Mitchell.

I stayed silent.

Voldemort waited patiently. 

I walked up to Calvin. 

"Speak the truth, Veritasum." i SAID, CASTING A SPELL ON BOTH OF THEM.

"Why did both of you use the potion?"

"I was afraid of him asking you to the Yule Ball!" they both screamed.

"What are your true intentions at Hogwarts?"

"Get together with you!"

"Kill you!" 

I blinked. Calvin wanted to kill me this whole time.

I walked up to Mitchell.

I got my wand from my sleeve and screamed at Voldemort ,"AVADA KEDABRA!"

My vision disappeared.



I finally took a deep breathe, and collapsed.
