Marie POV

Wow. This is so different from my old school.
Hogwarts is nice. My house is quite homey, but the people aren't the nicest.
Classes start tomorrow, and I have Potions with Gryffindor, Herbology with Hufflepuff, Charms with Gryffindor, and Transfiguration with  Ravenclaw. I can't wait to sit in the back of class, not interacting with anyone, reading my books.
I wake up, lying across my bed with "Moby Dick," on my head. I get my robes on, and fuble around with my tie. Some of the Slytherin girls invited me to sit next to them. I brought along my book, and school things. I sat down next to Pansy, Maleficent, and Narcissa.
I took some toast, and drank a bit of tea.
"Are you Muggleborn, Half blood, or Pure blood, Maire. Wait, you're obviously pureblood," Pansy smirked.
"Erm, actually, I'm a Muggle," I say, frowning, "Nothing wrong with that, right?"
The three cringed.
"H-how are you in Slytherin?"
"The hat did it's job, and this is my house," I say, muttering. I get up, leaving to the library.
Scratch what I said earlier. My house is DREADFUL.
Some Ravenclaws were in the library sitting at one table, but I just  sat by myself.
The bell rang, and it was time for Potions.

Mitchell POV

I couldn't stop thinking about her. She's got spunk. I have Potions with Slytherin, so I hope I see her. Maybe see her in Charms, and I hope I CHARM her... Oops, sorry not sorry. The bell rang, so I walk down the halls with Croaker (Jason), Hooves (Jonas), and Snowy (Nathan). Snape tells us to wait by the door. When we finally walk in, I see her. Jonas chuckles silently, and I poke him with my elbow. Marie was talking to Calvin Hedge, a pretty nice guy, for a Slytherin. I just hope Malfoy doesn't make Gryffindor lose any points...

"Hello, class," Snape said, emotionless, " This year of potions will be harder than ever. Be PREPARED."

"Marie, I hope you have learned Potions in Beauxbatons..."

She nodded, "Yes, I have, Professor."

God, her voice is so beautiful...

Snape rambled on about some stuff, like don't spill anything, blah blah.  I was brewing a potion with Jonas when Draco asked a question.

"Sir, is it possible for a Muggle to be a Slytherin?" he asked, smugly.

"Mr. Malfoy, though quite rare,  it is possible," Snape responded.

As I stole glances at Marie, I noticed she was getting unconfortable.  Wonder why.

"Haven't you heard? Marie is a Muggle in Slytherin," Jonas whispered.

"And Malfoy just called her out like that?" I said, getting angry.

"Cool off, Foxy.  It'll be okay," Jonas said, trying to calm me down.

Soon it was time for Snape to look at our potions.

When he got around to us, Snape said that our rat tails were cut unevenly.

"5 points from Gryffindor,  Mr Knight and Mr King."

Marie coughed. Quite loudly.

"That was a bit unfair, don't you think, Proffesor?" she said, crossing her arms.

"Marie, sit down," Calvin said.

"Marie, maybe you don't understand that I am the teacher, you are the student. You listen to me, whether it's fair or not."

Marie sat down after Calvin pulled her down to the stool, and she kept looking down, with her choppy hair on her face.

She's either crying, or raging.

"Don't kill him yet, Foxy. Slow down, partner," Jonas said, trying to calm me down.

After class was over, the Slytherins kept saying that Marie doesn't belong in Slytherin. It made me feel more anger, but I can't imagine how Marie is feeling now. She is literally red, but I hope she feels better. Me, being an awkward turtle, I can't talk to her now.....
