Chapter 29: falling to my death

Nico's pov

"Will...Will...Will...Will..." I keep murmuring as I was about to fall asleep.

"Does he ever shut up!" Cupid spazzed.

"Cupid shhhhh, he's about to fall asleep!" Apollo replied.

"Will you stop it," Cupid said to Apollo.

"Hey! ITS YOUR FAULT WHY THIS HAPPENED!" Apollo yelled.

"What..." I said and stood up.

"Nothing," Cupid said giving Apollo and odd glare.

"He planned the whole Frank thing, except it didn't go right...." Apollo said.

"WHAT?" I yelled. I was about to throw Cupid off of Apollo's chariot, but he got a hold of me first. He pushed me off of the chariot. I was falling to my own death. I heard Apollo yelling at Cupid I looked at the chariot and wasn't sure if it was coming towards me or away from me, I guess I'll find out, or shadow travel who knows.

Annabeth's P.O.V

I go to Nico's cabin and knock on the door, "GO AWAY," Will moans loudly. This has probably been around the 5th time in the past hour I've tried talking to him about Nico, nothing has worked. I finally decided to try to pick the lock with a paper click and bobby pin, it surprisingly worked actually. "Go," he moans throwing a pillow torwards me as it grazed a few strands of my hair. I sat at the end of Nico's bed.

"I know how you feel," I said calmly.

"I know, but at least people were looking for Percy," he said with a rude tone. It was true though. Everyone was looking for Percy when he was missing. Now nobody is looking for Nico, Frank or Leo. It's like they never existed.

"Hey, im leaving today, right now to look for him, don't tell anyone," I say with a cheerful smile putting my hand in his soft blonde hair.

Will's P.o.V

Was this true. Was Annabeth Chase actually leaving camp for my Nico? Without telling anyone... Wow, I wonder why though. It seemed weird. I guess ever since everything went back to normal besides the addition of our camps possibly starting to merge and the terrible current events, it seems like she's less Percy obsessed and more of a person again. I never rally knew Annabeth before, but when she was younger she wasn't as "obsessed" maybe I'm like how she was when percy was missing... Who knows..
