Chapter 49: Hazel...

Will's P.OV

"Reyna, I'm, im sorry," I said apologizing. My stomachs started aching so did my mind. I wish I could just let go and forget about Nico. I can though, I love him. I'm just tired of him always leaving, sometimes I wonder if it's better if we break up, well I guess that happened, but after it happened I realized how much he didn't need me, how much I needed him.

"Guys!" Percy yelled running in.

"What?" Annabeth we asked annoyed.

"Get to the infirmary!" Percy yelled.

"Wh-" Piper said getting cut off by Percy.

"No time to explain just come!" He said as we all ran out the door to the infirmary.

"Hazel, she's dying," Grover said.

"No, no she can't," Leo said shocked. Kneeling down to her and holding her hand while crying as Calypso awkwardly stood beside him.

"She's all Nico has," I whispered with a sob. "If she dies, he might too," I said worried.

"Or he'll go psycho," Percy added than Annabeth gave him a glare, "Sorry," Jackson said and remained silent.

I held hazels hand with one of mine than put my other hand on her forehead trying to heal her. "NECTAR!" I yelled, jackson quickly got some. "Put it in her mouth," I said trying to remain calm, it didn't help, her heart beat started to beat fast, and faster, than it got to a normal pace than all the sudden it dropped drastically, than I realized there's no hope, or is there. Maybe she's choosing to die, maybe her father is killing her, or maybe it's just her fate, either way, I can't let this happen not to Nico.

I tried praying for my father so did the others, it was no help. All my siblings tried healing her as her body started to shake. All the sudden Apollo appeared and poorer a clear liquid with a purple tint into her mouth. She stopped shaking, she was still. As Annabeth was about to check her palace, Hazel's eyes opened and started glowing gold and her mouth was open all the way. Then her pulse stopped and gel colder than ever.

"Dad, is she dead?" I said tearing up.

"Will, I'm afraid she is," he said looking down upon me. Leo pushed me away.

"YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! YOU COULD PRACTICALLY BRING ME BACK TO LIFE BUT NOT HER! TRY AGAIN! TRY AGAIN" Leo said sobbing with rage.

"Stop it," Apollo said calmly. Calypso looked at Leo realizing that he might've had feelings for Hazel. She started tearing up and ran out. Jason and Piper held Leo back and all the sudden Jason and Piper let go of Leo and screamed with pain. They're hands had burns on them. One of my brothers held their hands and healed them. Apollo grabbed ahold of Leo and knocked him out.

"I knew this was going to happen," a voice said, I turned around, it was Rachel.

"Why didn't you say anything!" Percy said with anger.

"Because I didn't see the point, no one could save her," she said in such a robotic voice.

"What do you mean?" Annabeth said pulling out her dagger.

"This wasn't her fate, it was a chosen fate," Rachel said.

"What do you mean," Annabeth asked.

"She didn't choose to die, but someone chose for her to die, someone who was more powerful killed her, on purpose," Rachel said as her eyes flickered green.

"Hades," i groaned.
