Attack on Titan: Junior High

Part 1

[A month before Eren and the others goes to the school)

Levi was walking home with Mike. The two lived close, so they walked together. They was just returning from a party that Hange threw together. Now it's gone dark and the two was walking back. As they crossed, Mike didn't noticed a car that was driving speed was over the limit. Levi saw this and pushed Mike out of the way, getting hit by the car himself. As the car kept on diving, Mike phoned an ambulance and the police. 

Once he phoned them, Mike picked up Levi and put him out of the road and onto the pathway. Levi coughed up blood.

"M-Mike," Levi struggled to say. 

"Shh Levi, the ambulance is coming. I'll tell your sister about what happened, alright. Just lay there and rest, because I hear them," said Mike. Levi groaned and nodded. The ambulance arrived, so did the police. The medics picked up Levi and put him in the van whereas Mike was telling the police what happened, the numbers on the plate he saw on the car and about Levi. 

"Thank you, Mike Zacharias, we'll make sure that the person will be question. For now, go with your friend to the hospital," said the police officer. Mike nodded and went into the van, going to the hospital for Levi. 

The Police officer went to the Ackerman house. He politely knocked on the door. In the house was a woman (in her early 20's) wearing baggy jeans, a white button up shirt, blue slippers, a facial scarf on her mouth and a head scarf to cover her hair. She looked up from the floor, that she was hovering, and turned the hover off. She walked to the door and opened the door. Her eyes widened as she saw the police officer.

"What did Levi do now?!" thought Levi's sister. She opened the door wider and pulled down her facial scarf.

"Hello officer, what's the matter?" asked Levi's sister.

"Are you Morgan Ackerman, Levi Ackerman sister?" asked the officer. 

"Yes, is he okay?" asked Morgan.

"Well I wish I could say he's fine but he's not," said the officer. 

"What happened?" asked Morgan.

"Please don't tell me Levi got into another fight?" she thought.

"Levi was walking home from a party with his friend, Mike Zacharias. As they were walking home, a car that was driving passed the speed limit was about to hit Mr Zacharias. From what Mr Zacharias told me was that Levi pushed Mr Zacharias out of the way and took the hit himself, leaving Levi with serious bad injuries. As we speak, Levi is being taken to the hospital by an ambulance," said the police officer. Morgan had a faint smile on his face.

"Trying to play hero again, huh Levi?" thought Morgan. 

"I'll go there right away," said Morgan.

"Do you need a lift there, Miss Ackerman?" asked the officer. 

"No thank you, I can get there myself. But Thank you for telling me about Levi and Mike. Those two have known each other since primary school," smiled Morgan. The police officer nodded and left, saying goodbye. Morgan closed the door and sighed.

"What am I going to do with you, Levi?" Morgan said to herself as she tooked off the scarfs, before putting on her jacket and shoes. She grabbed her keys and left the house. She locked the door before going to her car, then driving off to the Hospital. When she got in, she asked where Levi is. She was taken to the room where Mike was sitting and was told to stay outside of the room that Levi was in before the nurse left. 

"How bad did he look, Mike?" asked Morgan. Mike frowned.

"Pretty bad, I wish it was me in there, not him," said Mike. Morgan sighed and sat down, placing her head in her hands. 

"He's going to give me a heart attack one of these days," Morgan said. Mike rubbed her back. 

"He'll be fine, Morgan, he is a fighter," said Mike. Morgan squeezed her hands. 

"Yeah he is, but he takes after him more then mum," said Morgan.

"Him? You mean Kenny Ackerman?" asked Mike. Morgan nodded. (In this story, Kenny Ackerman is Morgan's, Levi's and 2 other peoples' father).

"Well Mike, how did the party go?" asked Morgan, changing the subject away from her father.

"It was fine, except Hange was trying to get Levi and Petra Ral to kiss but Levi kicked her outside into her back garden," said Mike. Morgan laughed. 

After Mike told Morgan what happened at the party, the door opened to reveal a doctor.

"Which one of you two is his relative?" asked the doctor.

"I'm his sister," said Morgan.

"Just a friend," said Mike.

"Well Miss Ackerman, would you come inside and I'll tell you what's happening," said the doctor. Morgan nodded and got up. She walked in and saw her unconscious brother.

"Is he okay?" asked Morgan as she rushed to Levi's side and grabbed his hand.

"He barely survived but he's very much alive. We had to do surgery on him," said the doctor. 

"And?" Morgan asked with tears running down her face.

"He lost a kidney and we had to sow a bit of his liver back before sowing his abdomen back up. He won't be allowed to walk around for a month, so we'll assign a wheelchair for him. Oh and he's not allowed to do PE at school for 2 months," said the doctor. Morgan sighed in relief. She raised Levi's hand to her lips and kissed his hand. 

"You really need to stop scaring me, Levi, or you are seriously going to kill me," Morgan whispered through tears. 

"Doctor," Morgan said.

"Yes Miss Ackerman?" asked the doctor.

"Could I have a note saying about Levi's conditions. Even though I won't be sending him to school for about a month, it's so they know what's going on," said Morgan.

"Of course you can, and would you like me to explain this to Mr Zacharias?" asked the doctor. Morgan nodded. The doctor left. Morgan left out a sob. 

"Why... are you... crying for... sis?" asked Levi. Morgan looked at his grey eyes. She kissed his forehead. 

"I'm crying about you, idiot. Don't ever give me a scare like that again," she whispered. Levi smiled painfully.

"I'm.. sorry," Levi said. Morgan played with Levi's hair.

"Shhh, go back to sleep. You'll most likely be here for a week before going back home, so get some sleep," Morgan whispered. Levi nodded.

"Are you going... home?" Levi asked. 

"I'm going to drop Mike off and ask if I could stay the night, okay?" smiled Morgan. Levi nodded and closed his eyes, going back to sleep. Morgan got up and walked out of the room and saw Mike looking at his lap, guilty. 

"Come on, Mike. Let's get you home, before your mother worries about you," smiled Morgan. Mike nodded and got up. The doctor came back with a letter. 

"Here you go Miss Ackerman... Oh you're leaving?" asked the doctor.

"Nah, I'm just going to drop this squirt off and come back, most likely spending the night here," Morgan said. The doctor nodded and handed her a note. 

"I'll ask one of the nurses to get a futon ready for you," said the doctor.

"Thanks doc," smiled Morgan. Morgan dropped off Mike before going back, to watch her younger brother sleep and then going to sleep herself.
