I make my way downstairs, and into the lobby. Adam puts his signature on the papers, so I guess he's my dad now. We walk out to the Team's Suburban, and I put my stuff in the back, and climb in the third row.
They turn on the radio as we pull out of the parking lot, and my favorite song, Uptown Funk, is on. I just hum along at first, but then we all start to get into it.
"If you don't believe me just watch, if you don't believe me just watch, you don't believe me just watch, hey, hey, hey, whoah!" I sing, but then go quiet, because everyone is staring at me.
"Dude. You can sing," Jason says, eyes wide.
"Um, thanks." I blush. But then, Blank Space by Taylor Swift comes on, and Mitch shouts "Oh my sweet Jesus, this is my jam!"
"So it's gonna be forever, or it's gonna go down in flames! You can tell me when it's over, if the high was worth the pain!" We sing together, and then burst out laughing at the fact that he can't sing.
We pull up to a huge white house, which I assume is the Team Crafted House. We get out, I grab my stuff, and we walk in. It's a lot bigger than what it looks like in their videos, and a lot cleaner, too.
"I'll show you your room," Adam smiles, and we jog up the stairs, to the only door without a name on it's whiteboard. I grab the marker, and write my name. I walk in, and gasp.
This room is enormous! The headboard of the bed has pink and blue fairy lights strung on top of it, and along the wall my desk and computer are on, there are more lights. The comforter on the bed has black and white stripes, and the pillows are Enderman and EnderDragon faces.
"I love it," I gush, and hug Adam. He hugs back, and chuckles.
"Well, I'll leave you here to unpack." he smiles, and leaves.
I'm going to love this life.
