The 1st of January 1983 wasn't a particularly memorable day for many, the start of a new year, yes but otherwise uneventful, but for young miss Melody Fire it was a truly horrible day. Because see today was the day she gave birth, 15 and unwed, she was terrified. After a failed back ally abortion she was disowned and shiped off to give birth.
The tragedy that night, was one life traded for another, a first breath for a last. A baby boy orphaned as soon as he entered the world she shed her last tear as he cried out. He cried for hours and hours until finally he was found a older woman cursed with infertility. She left miss Fire and took the infant home to her husband, they decided that they would keep him and move away claiming the child as there own. And that is the story of the birth of mr.John Lewis Franklin. Now 19 years of age and an artist the year 2002 was going to be a tough one for him.
