Chapter 2

       Adena's POV
I struggled my way free from her embrace and straightened up. My hair was tied in a messy bun since I didn't bother to straighten it from the shower. I was in a tank and a  pair of sweat pants. As I was seated she leaned towards me and mumbled some few words of comfort. I couldn't help but imagine what a godsent angel Kayme was to me.

I must say I really loved her so much and if I was gay then she would be mine.' Oh Ade, what are you thinking,  both of you are straight hahaha.' My inner thoughts were scolding me.

" Bestie you look like a little her most favorite teddy bear and has no hopes of getting it back or who has been deprived of her favourite chocolate bar."  I couldn't help but giggle she never missed to make me glad and I really loved her for that.

Kay is the only friend that I have who is genuine in friendship. She doesn't follow me for any material or personal gain but true and most sincere friendship. I must say she is a real beauty when it comes to heart and physical features. She never fail to surprise me with her general kindness.

She befriends everyone and belittling no one and this has earned  her utmost respect and love from other kids. I real feel indebted to her for helping me go through countless situations. Considering my dad being a politician.
She has helped me cope with criticism and hate speech me from many. Of course there are those who adore me and would kill for my place.

When people are talking about big celebrates as there role models, I do talk about Kayme and adore her like no one. To me she is an angel and an epitome in all dimensions.

I spilled out everything that I had to Kay and luckily she believed me. She asked me to not worry and let's go but with a promise to expect all sorts of reaction from my brother including disbelief. I accept with no objection knowing that no matter how I try to deny it Cedric loves Cate. At 5:00pm Kay decided to leave in order to ensure that her mom does not give her a lecture once she is home, since her home was a few blocks away.

"Ding dong!!!" I heard the door bell ring and my brother got in. I  got up running and went towards him. When I opened my arms to receive him, what I got!!!😲😥 Cedric walked right past me and headed upstairs to his room. I followed behind him hoping for an explanation but I was rewarded by his door closing on my face.

"Cedric, Cedric I can explain please open the door." I pleaded with him but he did not give a damn. I knew what was wrong I was not there for him when he needed me most. He really made me feel like an idiot. I couldn't help it but feel hurt. I remembered Kay's words and decided to take courage.

After like one hour the pizza guy appeared holding two pizzas I noticed that Cedric had ordered one without informing me. I tried to talk to him but he couldn't give me a chance. I called Kayme for help. Three trials she wasn't picking. Thanks goodness she responded to the fourth one.

"Holla girl! what's wrong you aren't giving me a break. Are you on a mission to kill me with missed calls?" She said.

"Shit! Shut the fuck  up you little bitch. Now on a serious note I need your help..." I explained to her the whole drama and she told me to give her time while updating her. We ended the call and I saw Cedric leaving the house with a killer outfit. He looked like he was up to date.

"Ced, where are you going?" I asked. I saw his face harden and his lips thinned as he breathed out.

"It's none of your business and the last time I checked you were my younger sister and not a police officer for heaven sake."

I heard my heart sunk I didn't expect my brother answering me like that. Nevertheless am Adena and giving up does not exist in my life dictionary. " I know but am just concerned "I mumbled.

"Concerned,"he mimicked, "hahaha you must really be up to a comedy Adena." He said with a smirk on his face. This really made me feel hurt knowing that it was that bitch's fault. He even chuckled at the end.

Shock was registered on my face once he called me by my name which was very rare. He used to call me angel or princess the same with my dad. I could not take it anymore I started breaking down before. Then I heard him mumble " oh quite drama you drama queen, I am going to spend my time with those who are always there for me." This words rendered me speechless.

I ran to my room and typed all this to Kayme.
A: He has said he is going to spend time with those worth his time.😥
K: That's a hint that he is going to be with that hoe.
A: kinda.
K: I have an idea.
A: It better be helpful.
K: We can use Stephanie you know then we can protect against that asshole. You know she always has something for Ced, right?...

After that conversation my heart lept with joy. I knew Kay will always be helpful. I took my crop top a jacket and a booty and headed to the wardrobe. The mission was to follow Ced and locate his ware about informing Kay who will bring Steph along. I'm mediately Ced left I stepped out of our to storey building and headed to my pink convertible. I had to prove to him that I cared.

Cedric's limo was a few cars ahead and I could locate it easily. He stopped at a certain apartment and picked up a blonde, she kissed him and he led her to the car. It was Cate the so called cheerleader. They took there path towards the park which had a beautiful five star hotel. Oh God I can't believe that whore is going to receive a special treat from my brother and spend my time too.
