"It's time to get up now. You have a busy schedule today. First, you must practice your Chinese and then you have a photoshoot in the park. After that..." The boy tuned out as his father's assistant spoke and focused on the sun rising in the window. Once Nathalie left the room, he pulled on a black T-shirt and some jeans and combed his blonde hair. Yawning and stretching, Adrien went through his schedule in a bit of a daze as he usually did. However, as he went to lift the spoon of oatmeal to his lips, he noticed two things that made his eyes grow wide.
The first thing he noticed was that the Gabriel brand bracelet his father gave him when he began modeling to hide his soulmate mark was missing. Adrien's father didn't want him worrying about soulmates with him becoming a famous model and all that, and he didn't want the mark appearing in the photos either. So when Adrien was only 10, he had given him a way to keep it covered with orders never to take it off.
The second thing he noticed was that he would be meeting his soulmate in only 20 days.
He searched everywhere for the signature bracelet that he had worn every single day for five years, but he couldn't find it. Eventually, he came to sneaking into his father's office and borrowing another identical bracelet and put it on. However, he had seen his tattoo and covering it up now did nothing to ease his mind. For the first time in years, a genuine smile crossed his lips.

Marinette whistled a tune to herself as she wandered peacefully down the streets of Paris towards the park. She idly traced the numbers on her wrist, as she'd gotten into the habit of doing, as she walked. As she moved towards the entrance to the park, she noticed there was a photoshoot for the Gabriel Apparel Brand's new Autumn line on the other side of the park. She sat down on the bench and watched for a little bit, despite being unable to really make any specifics of faces or clothing out. She was entirely inspired by the whole process and dreamt of one day having her clothes being photographed for a magazine and having people flocking to her stores to purchase pieces of her new lines. Clearing her head, she finally stood up and moved to go to the Eiffel Tower for some inspiration so as not to disturb the photoshoot in any way.
While there, she watched as a tall and slender man feed some pigeons and as a new police officer gave him his first warning for doing so. She was intrigued by the confrontation as the man tried to defend his pigeons. She quickly sketched out a grey and blue skirt inspired by the feathers of the pigeons and smiled.

After his photoshoot, Adrien managed to convince his bodyguard and driver, a quiet man he called The Gorilla, to take him to a nearby bakery to grab a snack. They pulled up next to the shop and he excitedly hopped out of the car. However, when he walked up to the door, he saw that it was closed. He sighed, disappointed, and got back in the car so his driver could take him immediately back to the Agreste manor.
