Transfer (Bakugou x Reader)

Chapter 4

Recap:
You had just gotten your gym uniform and had changed into it. Now it was time to go to hero training. You were incredibly excited to see what you'd be doing.

Now:
"Okay, so we're going to do some pretty basic team matches. Since there are 21 of you, we'll be split into seven groups of three. Being the bright students you are, I'm sure you realized that's an uneven number of teams. The odd team out will be fighting me in place of another team. Understand?"

A series of nods came as a reply and Aizawa began to randomly assign teams while continuing his lecture, "I'm sure it's obvious to you that you can't kill your class mates. While it's the same as heroes. We apprehend but do not kill. Killing people would make us just as bad as villains." He paused, assigning teams randomly, "Mineta, Asui, and Tokoyami; you guys are team one. Uraraka, Iida, and Midoriya you guys will be team two-"

You kind of zoned out, not knowing most of the people well enough to care where they went. You kind of hoped you'd be on Bakugou's team, maybe then he'd respect you more, but fate had other plans, "(Y/n), Kaminari, and Sero. You guys are team 7."

"Alright. Now that everyone has been assigned their teams I will randomly draw numbers to see which team fights who. It's all random, so no complaining or swapping opponents." Aizawa explained before drawing numbers, "team 1 you're fighting team 5. Team 2 you're fighting team 3. Team 4, you are fighting team 6. Which leaves Team 7, who is fighting me.

You began to feel slightly nervous. You knew almost nothing about Aizawa's quirk or the quirks of the people You're fighting with. Not to mention most of these people have fought aside eachother before, giving you the disadvantage.

"Okay so, to win the fight, the opposing team members must be incapacitated, or unable to continue fighting. Or, they must declare defeat and surrender. This has a lot to do with team work. A lot of times, multiple heroes show up to the same scene and have to cooperate with eachother to take down the villain. So don't neglect your team members. Any questions?"

~Time-Skip~

Currently teams four and six were battling it out and my team was next. I looked over, seeing the boy known as Midoriya with a notebook. I scooted over slightly catching a glimpse at the pages. He was taking notes? That's dedication. And judging by what number notebook it was, it seemed he was quite knowledgeable."

"M-Midoriya?" I said quietly.

"Oh! Hi (Y/n)!" He smiled, "Do you need something?"

"O-Oh. I um..." I looked at his notebook, "Do you have notes on Mr. Aizawa?"

"Oh yeah! Do you want to read them?"

You nodded meekly and he smiled, handing over his notes. You thanked him and began to read through them. Once you finished, you handed Izuku his notes back, "thank you."

"No problem! I hope they were helpful. I mostly wrote them with my quirk in mind but some of the strategies work with other quirks as well. Good luck fighting Mr. Aizawa!"

"T-Thank you."

Soon the fight currently underway had concluded and now you had a pretty good understanding of how everyone's quirks functioned. Bakugou and Todoroki were rather impressive. As much as you wanted to blend in, you wanted to win this fight also, so you went to your teammates.

"Sero, Kaminari?"

The two of them were already talking with each other and turned to face you, "I-I'm sorry to bother you. But I wanted to talk to you about our fight."

~Time-Skip~

You and your team had just been called to the center where you'd be fighting Mr. Aizawa. You were nervous but you couldn't just give up. It wasn't like your life was in danger this time. You could do this.

The three of you stood next to eachother awaiting the word. And then, it came, "Go!" Aizawa signaled.

You really hoped Midoriya's notes were accurate, "Now!" You shouted.

You knew you had to end this fast or you'd be toast, so on your command, the three of you ran in different directions so you couldn't all be in Aizawa's vision. You went left and Sero went right. That left Kaminari to charge him straight on. You noted Aizawa's hair raise, he took the bait, erasing Kaminari's quirk.

"Now Sero!!" You and Sero were now on opposing sides of Aizawa and Sero shot his tape to you caught it. The both of you ran forward, slapping the tape over Aizawa's eyes while Kaminari engaged him in hand to hand combat. The class roared, seemingly shocked or impressed by our strategy. You were less proud, you could sense he was going easy on you. He's a teacher and a qualified hero, after all.

Even blinded, Aizawa put up a great fight, and was able to block Denki's attacks. You and Sero disengaged, dragging the blonde away with you. Once there was some distance, you began to try and force Aizawa to the ground with your polarity quirk.

Aizawa was strong though, and you hadn't trained your quirk enough to hold him. He lifted a hand to remove the tape from his eyes, "No!!" You shouted. Putting even more effort behind your quirk. You could feel blood drip from your nose but you kept pushing. It wasn't good enough and you had to think fast. Though he was slowed, he was inches away from removing the tape that covered his eyes. Not to mention his fabric scarf was extending.

"Kaminari! Electrocute me!"

"What?! Are you crazy??" The blonde exclaimed, "No way!"

"Do you want to win this fight or not? Just do it!"

"But-"

"Do it!" You yelled, tasting the blood from your nose. Suddenly, you felt a warm vibration all over your body it intensified into an ache and then a burn until your whole body felt as though it were on fire. It numbed and tingled, and as soon as you adjusted to the pain, you opened your eyes to see Aizawa being held to the ground. You're body convulsed, and you could feel your muscles contracting. You were dizzy and swayed on your feet.

However, despite all of your efforts, you miscalculated. You began to fall, your vision darkening. But you could see Aizawa's scarf tying up a short circuited Kaminari and Sero as he ripped the tape from his eyes.
