"Come on, Y/n. Please, baby, I need you. Stay with me." Erwin cried as the small girl slept next to her. It had been months since she had been sleeping. Madison walked into the room. She closed her eyes and sighed as she walked over to Erwin who was crying over his sleeping lover. "Commander..." She said lowly. His head shot up. He rubbed his eye and looked over at her. "What is it?" He asked. "I'm afraid we may have to stop her treatments." The doctor said with tears in her eyes. "No! She'll wake up! I know she will!" He cried over her body. He refused to leave her side.

Levi walked in and saw the Commander sobbing over his girlfriend. "Erwin, what's wrong? What'd they say about Y/n?" He asked. Erwin looked up. "They're going to stop treatments if she doesn't wake up." He said through his tears. Levi rushed to her side. "Come on, Y/n. You can't leave us. You have to wake up!" He screamed. She rustled a bit. Her eyes opening moments later. "Y/N!" Erwin cried as he held her small body close to his own. "E-erwin?" She asked. "What are you doing here?" She asked, her voice hoarse from months of not talking. "What happened? How long was I out?" She asked. "About six months. I've been here the entire time. I wanted to be here when you woke up." Erwin explained as tears streamed down his cheeks. "Stop crying. Tears don't suit you. They stain your beautiful face." She whispered to him as she lifted her hand to dry his tears.

Levi looked into her (e/c) eyes. She smiled lightly before Hanji walked in. Prepared to see Y/n colorless and dead. She had tears streaming down her cheeks as she prepared for the worst. She opened the door and saw the smile that she hadn't seen in six months. She ran over to the small girl and embraced her while crying. "You're okay!" She cried as she hugged the small girl. "Well, what'd you expect Hanj?" She asked jokingly. The burnette smiled. "I'll go tell Dr. Shields that you're alright." Hanji said as she rose from the bed. The brown haired doctor returned to the room where Y/n had her nose in a book, nothing unexpected. Erwin laid his head on her stomach. Finding comfort in the small space.

Dr. Shields cleared her throat. Alerting the two of her presence. Y/n looked up once before pushing up her glasses and looking back into her book. "Oh, Dr. Shields." Erwin said once he was alerted of her presence. "I see you're awake, Y/n. We may need to run a few tests before we can release you." The doctor said as she looked as the small woman. "Alright." Y/n said without looking up from her book. "That requires you putting the book down." The doctor stated. Y/n looked up slightly from the book. Glaring at the doctor. "You can wait until I finish this chapter." She hissed before she looked back into her book. Her (e/c) eyes skimmed over the pages. She would flip the page every-so-often. She flipped the pages a few more times before she marked her place in her book and set the book beside her bed. She pushed up her glasses once more. "Alright, what is it that you wanted to test?"

After a while, Y/n was free to go back to work. She had a few issues walking and had to use crutches until she regained her strength. She had issues walking up the stairs, so Erwin was there to help her with that. She had paperwork that was piling up over the six months she was out. She sighed and sat down at her desk. Erwin sighed and sat down in the chair across from her on the other side of her desk. She sighed and began to skim over the paperwork. Her eyes flickering back and forth as she completed it. "I hate paperwork." She mumbled. Erwin looked up. His blue orbs staring into her (e/c) ones. She looked down and completed more of the paperwork.

After an hour, the paperwork was done. She yawned once before she stretched and looked out the window. Levi and Eren were outside after a fight again. Eren always ran out when they argued. Levi hugged him and kissed his cheek. Then they whispered something to each other before pressing their lips together and it turning into a heated makeout session. She looked away as Levi grabbed Eren and raced back into headquarters. She heard Levi and Eren quickly coming up the stairs. She limped to the door and quickly shut it before Eren and Levi were inside their room. She then limped back to her desk and laid her head in her hands. She tried to concentrate on what else needed to be done. She rose from her seat and walked over to Erwin who was still sitting on her couch. She sat down next to him, laying her head on his shoulder. One eye opened to peer at the tired girl next to him. He sighed and put an arm around her. Laying a small kiss to her forehead. She rustled a bit to get comfortable on his chest. Erwin peered behind him to find a small throw blanket over the back of the (f/c) couch.
