Also, I forgot what demon chakra was called, which is youki, and I will be writing "youki" instead of "demon chakra" because it is much shorter than writing two words when I could use one.
Another thing I would like to know: WHO LIKED THE CLIFF HANGER? please comment---->Kurama never felt so much panic in his whole life in that one moment. Minato coughed out blood. He could have internal bleeding caused by outside movement added to the internal turmoil of two vastly different chakras.
Kurama started to search more efficiently for a deep cave to hide themselves. He wanted to take a look at Minato's internal energy battle. He wanted to know if the demon or human was winning. He wanted to know how badly the youki had harmed Minato. As he walked and thought at the same time, he found a very well hidden cave. The opening was thickly covered by thick hanging vines and thick branches serving as a gate that spread to the edges of the cave and going inwards to the cave walls.
He carried Minato through the thick vines, which brought little to no light to inside the cave. Kurama had night vision, so he could see perfectly well. He went further into the cave, around half a mile in. He kept going deeper into the cave with Minato in his arms. As he went deeper, his surroundings became brighter. Two miles into the cave, there was a dry area that wasn't damp or sandy. Light cast down from the ceiling of the cave, it was already becoming evening seeing how the circle light was angled instead of straight down from the hole. Kurama knew he wouldn't have time to look for food or bedding, so he found the most smoothest part of the cave and laid there with Minato in his arms. Kurama did not sleep.
Next Day
Kurama roused from his five minute nap to Minato groaning in pain. His body was shaking and jerking around.
"Ku..." Minato painly grunted, his eyes opening slightly, "Ku....it hurts," he manages to slur out before fainting again. Minato's fists were clenched so tightly, blood was drawn. His body sweated from the overheating in his body. He felt like he had an ache or an itch but couldn't reach it, because everytime he moved it felt like lava crashing down on him.
When Kurama heard his name, part of it, he had a thought.
It wasn't a pretty one.
It was going to be most painful for both of them.
It would give him and Minato a forsure outcome instead of a one in million chance.
Kurama was going to manipulate the youki back into his body.
But first, he wanted to make the cave more comfortable, since it was going to be a painful process. He laid Minato on the smooth surface and left the cave to find thick but smooth leaves and grass. He was gonna place it where the sun hit, so make it warm and so it wouldn't turn into mush.
As he laid Minato on the ground he whispered, "I'm gonna go grab some things that will make you, and I, more comfortable. I won't be gone long.....Don't die on me."
With those last words, he left to gather leaves and grass, which shouldn't be too hard. And he left the cave.
30 minutes later~ Minato's POV (Somewhat, most of it is Minato thinking to himself)
When I woke up, I saw a ray of light but everything else is dark and cold. Where am I? Where's Kurama?
I'm cold. The ground where the sun is hitting looks warm, I wanna lay there.
Minato tried to lift himself to go towards the warmer ground. Only for his limbs to break down on him and cause him pain.
"GAaah!" It hurts. My arms hurt a lot. I bet my legs do to. Everything hurts.
