The dreamer's typical behavior is often to get somewhere away from reality. They strive to find a world beyond their own. Perhaps it may be a romanticized version of their future, whatever it may be. And eventually, they might even find that dream-land they are so fond of, a land that only they can see. A land that they and only they would know.

On the night of her birthday, angel Ardevella Anov has found that special place.

There she saw, bright lights, retro shops, tastefully dressed people, everything she could ever want was all around her. She wanders to a nearby shop to see all the beautiful vintage items, wishing there were more places like this where she lives. As she picks up a magazine to stare at more beautiful people clad in beautiful clothes, she makes a life-changing discovery: she has somehow traveled to the year 1966.

Our Arde didn't know anything of what she did or how she did it, but it brought her here. So she decided to make every moment count while she was in this time.

There, she would venture to every area she could find and bask in its vintage glory. She even wondered if she could be able to become a well-known singer. She does everything she can in this world..

That is, until our angel Arde wakes up.

It is Saturday, she pours cereal into a bowl and cuts an apple. She prepares a whole variety of foods to consume as if she were a vessel of Tarrare. Sweet Arde was far from a good cook. In fact, she had no knowledge of cooking. But there was absolutely no doubt that she enjoyed eating. She wishes she could eat everything she could ever be able to eat. But of course, her love for food would always lead to her mother making cruel remarks about her weight (even though she is nothing like her mother sees her as).

While our Arde eats happily, she looks down at her golden locket, the locket given to her the other day by her best friend as a birthday present. She opens the locket, revealing the small engraving of the number "1966." 1966 was the year Arde was in last night.

"Could this be why...?" Arde asks to herself. She comes to the conclusion that her little locket could've lead to her dream about time-traveling to the 60's. She even wonders if her actions in 1966 would alter what happens in the future. She would test this out by sleeping with the locket on and striving to be a famous singer like she always dreamed of being.

That very night, she did it again. She fell asleep and found herself in the streets of a city in 1966. There, she continues to explore the beautiful world she discovered and confirms that this was the locket's doing. Later on, our angel Arde realizes that while she does have a home in her time, she does not have one in this time. She decides to walk to a table near a cafe and think about everything that is happening to her.

"I can't believe it's happened to me," she smiles, "but why? How did I get here? Was it really the locket that brought me here? If so, why? Why...?"

Arde's thoughts are interrupted by the sight of a woman dropping her bags with various items spilling out. Arde decides to help her pick them up. She doesn't usually do this in her time because of her shyness, but she decided to help this time. The woman looks to Arde.

"Aw, thank ya sweethawt!" she says with a thick accent, "Ah swea' Ah am nothin' but bad luck today. Actually, this whole week has been a mess fa' me!"

Arde nods and smiles awkwardly and the two stand up.

"Thank ya so much, girl, Ah really mean it."

"O-oh, no problem! I have nothing better to do anyways," Arde replies.

"Aw, well Ah hope ya find somethin' ta' do. This is mah favorite place ta' shop, so Ah can neva' be boawd," the woman explains.

"Oh, you're familiar with this place?" Arde asks.

"Ya bet!"

"Well..." Arde continues, "let's just say I've never really been in this area, I don't even have anywhere to live, so I'm just exploring."

The woman nods, "Aw, Ah'm sorry. Ah would help, but how do Ah know ya not a psychopath?"

Arde and the woman laugh for a while before Arde says, "Well, I sure as hell don't look at one."

The woman nods, "Huh, how about ya accompany me while Ah shop? Ah mean, Ah'd rather Ah help with someone with good taste and maybe, just maybe, Ah might let ya stay with me for a while."

Arde's face lights up, "Wait, for real?" The woman nods.

"Alrighty then! I'm Ardevella, by the way, but you can call me Arde or some other name you have in mind. Nice accent by the way!"

The woman laughs, "Aw, thanks! Ah'm Lucaina."

With those words said, the two girls, both young and free (Well, in this time, Arde is free), shop together and eat all the food they want. During the time, they both thought very fondly of each other. Arde thought Lucaina was like the cool friend she never had who loved food as much as her. She also deeply admired her sense of fashion and would be comfortable if she were to stay with Lucaina for a while. As for the other way around, Lucaina enjoyed Arde's company and laughed at her witty comments. She even offered to buy an outfit for her because they shared a similar sense of style. All in all, they became fast friends.

"Awright, awright, Ah gotta say Ah really like ya style," Lucaina says, moving her platinum blonde hair.

"I must say, I really like yours, too," Arde says back.

"Ya know what, Awde? Ah'll let ya stay at my house for a while. Ya just have ta' promise ya won't do anything shady, awright? Can Ah trust ya on that?"

Arde nods and the two head to Lucaina's house after a long day of shopping and getting to know each other.
