After Polly had left the Garrison, Sabrina wasted no time in ripping off her apron and calling for Harry to cover the rest of her shift. There was nothing more that she needed apart from Betty's expertise. She had always helped her before- she could definitely help her with the confusion that had forced itself into her life. When she returned home early, her sisters were worried. Sabrina's face was flushed from the rush and her hands were shaky.

"What's happened?" Mary asked, as she flopped down between her two of her sisters, onto Betty's bed.

"Polly came to talk to me." She groaned, blushing just thinking about any single moment of the past week or so.  "About John... and Tommy."

"Really? What'd she say?" Betty asked, excited.

"Sabrina?" She asked again, noticing her conflicted expression.

"It's John. He's getting married." Sabrina blurted it out and her sisters' eyes widened in shock.

"What? John Shelby?" Mary asked and Sabrina nodded.

"Yes. Tommy's arranged it. A week on Monday."

"You need a hug?" Betty asked.

Both Mary and Betty pulled her in for a cuddle, with Sabrina's head resting against their sides, their arms tucking around her comfortingly. Mary moves her hand to stroke her hair back.

"Is that all she said?" She asked.

"No. She asked me about the races, and the other night."

"The other night? What happened?" Betty asked, and Sabrina flushed a deep red.

"I met Tommy in the private room. To talk."

"What? How did you not tell me about this Sabrina?" Betty said, as she pulled back, hitting her with a cushion playfully.

"I'm sorry." Sabrina giggled, while not expanding on the subject any further.

"Well you can't leave it at that."

"Well, Pol thinks I'm more over John than I think. I don't know what she means though." Sabrina said, Betty and Mary shared a look. "I've fancied John since I was like, six or something!"

"Well, that's it Sabrina. When you were 11, you almost fainted once because John asked you to dance in the Garrison when it was George's birthday." Mary said, and Sabrina smiled at the memory. "But now..."

"You're right, I don't feel like that anymore." Sabrina said, her lips turning downward.

"Honestly Sabrina. You really couldn't write our lives." Betty exclaimed randomly, pulling her back in for a hug. "As soon as you have a chance, you don't feel the same about him anymore."

"I know. I still think Pol meant something else though." She said, her eyebrows knitting together as she thought. "I don't really have a chance anymore, anyway."

"Oh, I know she meant something else." Betty answered with a smirk, earning a laugh from Mary. "I'm just not being the one to say it out loud."

Sabrina perked you, her head twisting to look between her two sisters with a suspicious glance. "What? Say what?"

She turned to the blonde haired girl after figuring that Betty wouldn't answer. She shook her wrist. "Mary? Come on!"

They both zipped their lips, teasing her like they always did when they were little. Sabrina sighed and rolled her eyes. As much as she was annoyed, Sabrina laughed along with them. It felt as if she had never left, like before the war, when they would spend each second of the day together, just the three of them.
