As Nick and Jack slowly argued about who got the last ration a loud sound could be heard originating at the mouth of the cave alerting both bickering soldiers making them draw their weapons and prepare until something got Nicks attention a small rock... no Crystal that was a light shade of blue, not missing a beat Nick picked up the strange item observing it until Jack noticed and shouted at Nick telling him 'put that damn rock away and get ready for the enemy to come down here' but only getting a 'well we are doomed any way so stop acting like we can get through this just sit down and wait for the enemy so we can go back to a wa-' Jack wacked the crystal out of Nicks hands making it fall on the floor and crack letting out a wave of energy that pulsed through both Nick and Jack knocking both out instantly with Jacks last thought being 'great now we defo will not get through this training exercise'
