What would the world be like if everyone simply disappeared?

Think about it...

Would it be quiet?

Would the creatures of the Earth praise our absence with cheers of joy?

Would the wind sing songs of peace and power?

Would the sun shine a little brighter?

Would the sunsets still be so breathtaking with no one there to admire them?

Would the trees hold conversations among themselves?

Would the mountains still crumble?

Would the land still quake?

Would the monsters of the sea still hide in the depths?

Would the vines hug the buildings?

Would the clouds come down and rest on the streets?

Would the waves of the ocean dance and soar?

Would the angels come down from the heavens?

Would the demons crawl up from hell?

What if not everyone left? What if the youth remained, to start a new?

What if a couple hundred high school kids woke up in the streets of San Marino, California, completely alone? No adults. No family. No explanation. No memory of their past lives. Only the clothes on their backs and three words and a number tattooed on their arms. Their name. Their age. Their location. That's it.

What would they do?

What would you do?
