Second Heartbeat (Avenged Sevenfold & Metallica)

Jimmy's POV

It's been two months since Becca tried killing herself and her father sent her to a psych hospital for a while. She wasn't too fond of that idea, but he needed to do what he had to to get her help. The tour is going great, but unfortunately for Becca's band mates, they can't play shows without her. They're still on tour with us, though, and let me tell you they're having a blast. I haven't seen Becca since before she was put away and I'm just dying to see her again. I miss her so much. She's allowed visitors, but she's all the way back home.

“So when's our next show?” I ask Matt.

“I dunno. In like a week. We have a small break.”

“Really? I need to pack.”

“Pack? For where?”

“I'm gonna go visit Becca.”

“Dude that's a long flight.”

“I don't care. I fucking miss her and want to see her.”

“Well alright. Are you sure you want to go alone?”

“I'll be fine, Matt. I'm a grown man,” I laugh.

“Yeah yeah.”

He laughs and then goes off to do his own thing. I smile to myself just thinking about how I have a chance to see Becca. I probably should mention it to her dad. I'll tell him now. I walk around until I find him and when I do, I head over.

“Hey. I'm gonna go fly out to see Becca. I really miss her. Is that alright?”

“Of course it is. Tell her I miss her and that I had to do what I did so she could get help.”

“I promise I'll tell her.”

“Thank you. And tell her I love her as well.”

“I will,” I chuckle.

He smiles and gives me a hug. I return the hug and smile.

“I'll see you in a few days.”

“Alright. Have fun and take care of my baby while you're there.”

“You don't even have to ask,” I smile.

He smiles and I head off to my hotel room to pack a few pairs of clothes and other daily necessities. After I have everything packed, I head to the airport and I take the next plane out to California. I really can't wait to see Becca.
