I quickly ran to my phone and scroll through my contacts. He put his name in as Prince. Cute, but it just had to be close to the end of the alphabet! I clicked his name and as the phone rang, I was trying to think of something to say, how am I gonna get him to come ove-

"Heelloo! Hello? Pretty Princess??" He said interrupting my thoughts.

"Oh, I'm sorry! I was doing something." It was an awkward silence.

"Soo, uhh, I see you made it home safe."

"Yea, I did." I was stalling. What do I say?

"Well, uhm, it seems like your busy so i'll call you-"

"WAIT! Uhm...did you wanna come over maybe?" I was hoping he would say yes.

" uhh, I don't know. I have studying and-"

" It's important. Just get here, please." By now I was crying. It was an emergency!

"I'm on my way text me the address."

"Okay." By now I was shaking. I texted him the address and he said he'll be there in 5 minutes. I just had to tell him. Well not the part where my stalker may come after him, but the majority of the stuff. Soon there was a knock at the door, and my phone went off. It was Darius saying he was at the door. I opened it and he came in. He sat on the couch.

"Althea, what's wrong?" He asked. My tears came running down like a waterfall. He came closer to me wrapping his arms around me waiting for me to compose myself. I finally stopped crying. I got the box of things that my stalker sent me along with the notes and let him read them.

"Who is this person?" Darius asked.

"I don't know..."

"Do you know who it could be."

"No, I'm scared! I don't know what to do." I softly started to cry again. "I'm sorry, I didnt mean to burden you with my problems."

"No, no sweetheart...you're fine. I don't mind helping you." I hugged him and kissed him on the cheek.

"Thank you so much!"

"Did you go to the police?"

"No." I said shaking my head.

"Come on let's go." He stood and grabbed my hand, walking outside to his car. I got in his car.

"Why did you take the bus, if you have a car?" I asked him. I mean it just doesn't make sense.

" you want the truth?" He said glancing at me.

"Yes."

"Well, I was riding the bus because you ride it. For a long time I was trying to get the courage to talk to you...and I did." He said smiling.

"Well, I'm glad you did." I responded grabbing his free hand. He then slammed on brakes and the car swerved.
