Third Person P.O.V.

The next day...

Killian arrived at the river valley. He spotted Emma, who was already there. He had kept his emotions to himself for so long it felt so good to finally be able to talk about it to someone, he thought as he neared the bench and sat on the empty spot next to Emma.

"So, what's wrong?" Emma said full of concern. Killian let out a deep sigh.

"Belle and I.. we aren't exactly at a good place." He said looking at the ground. He told Emma the whole story, from when he asked her to go to Emma's party, to when she saw that video of them.

"Wow. Now that's some complicated stuff. I knew it, I had a bad feeling about her. I think you should dump her. She's a bitch!" Emma said, full of purpose.

"But I still love her. I'm willing to work this out. She- well she just doesn't trust me." Killian replied, his voice cracking, and with tears in his eyes.

Emma placed a hand on his cheek. "I'm sorry. Hey... it's going to be ok." she said soothingly.

Killian rested his forehead on Emma's. Soon, their faces were really close. They both closed their eyes. Their noses brushing against each other. It was a lovely and quiet moment, until...

"Hey guys! I figured you'd be here. Come on we'll be late from class!" Regina shouted a few feet away.

Emma and Killian practically jumped away from each other, their cheeks bright red. "I-I'm so sorry Killian." Emma apologized quickly, placed a hand on the back of her neck. Killian accepted the apology and they both chased after Regina to head to their classes.

After class...

"See you Killy." Emma said as she walked away from Killian. "Goodbye, love." Killian replied.

As she got home, she rushed up to her room and opened her phone. There's something she's been denying for a while now, she just couldn't take it anymore. She's finally admitted it to herself.

She opened her contacts then pressed 'MM'.

Emmy: Hey MM! I've been wanting to talk to you.

MM: Hi Emmy, what's up?

Emmy: I've been denying this for a while now. But promise not to tell anyone.

MM: Ok... what is it?

Emmy: I might be falling for Killian.

MM: YOU WHAT?!! OMG I KNEW IT!!! You guys are TOO CUTE! *SQUEALING* 🥺😍😱

Emmy: SHHH! Don't you dare tell anyone!!!

MM: FINEE! Wait, isn't he still dating Belle?

Emmy: I know, and he loves her. And I don't want to ruin that for him. I just need advice? Idk what to do!

MM: Well if he's happy with her, the best you can do is to move on and forget about those feelings. It's going to be hard, but that's the least you can do. You'll find love with someone else.

Emmy: I don't think I'll want to be with anyone else. You know what happened with Neal. I'd want to be with someone I trust.

MM: It's going to be fine, Emmy. Just focus on moving on for now.

Emmy: Thanks a lot, MM :D

MM: Anytime. ☺️

Emma lay down on her bed, conflicted. She wanted to be with Killian but that was a pipe dream. He loves Belle and he's happy with her. But she knows in her heart he deserves better. Better than a jealous and manipulative bitch. She went downstairs to get a snack then opened Netflix on her laptop in the hopes of forgetting everything.

With Killian...

"Goodbye, love." Killian said as Emma walked away. He pulled out his phone then opened his chats with Regina.

Dork: Regina! Are you there? I need to tell you something.

Little Sis: What is it?

Dork: Promise not to tell anyone, not even Emma.

Little Sis: Fine, fine! What is it? You like her no?

Dork: WHAT?!!

Little Sis: What?? I got it, am I right?

Dork: FINE! But ZIP IT! Please 😓😭😭

Little Sis: Ok ok... OMG I WAS RIGHT!!! 😱❤️❤️

Dork: Is that all you're going to say?

Little Sis: Hello? You're still with Belle.

Dork: I know.. it's just I feel a bit out of love with her. She never lets me go out without her because she thinks I'll cheat on her.

Little Sis: Then dump her ass!

Dork: Whatever... I'll see you later.

Little Sis: Ok.. Bye 👋🏻

He placed his phone in his pocket then someone came up behind him.

"Hey! Killian." Ruby said, tapping him lightly on the shoulder from behind him.

"Ruby! Bloody hell you scared me a bit there..." Killian responded, a bit vexed.

"Sorry about that... but anyways, don't tell Belle but... I just thought you deserved to know." Ruby said in a low voice.

"What is it?" Killian asked, worried.

"It's Belle... she's cheating on you." Ruby whispered.

Killian froze, his face turned white in shock. He didn't expected that in his wildest dreams. Tears started to well up in his eyes then he quickly wiped them away. He let out a deep, sad sigh.

"I um- thank you so much Ruby." Killian said, his voice cracking.

"Always welcome." Ruby replied with a sad smile, sympathetically placing a hand on his shoulder.

Killian left in a rush then ran to Belle's house. He opened the door only to see what would be his second shock of the day.

Belle and Will Scarlet on the couch sharing a kiss.

"I'm glad we're doing this." Belle said smiling, breaking their kiss. "Me too. You deserve better than that nerdy weirdo." Will replied. Belle turned around to see a terrified Killian standing in front of them. Now it was Belle's turn to be shocked. Then Killian ran out the door and rushed back to his place.

"Killian wait!" Belle screamed, leaving Will alone on the couch.
