I off my phone and lay on my bed and smile to myself me and the so called spidyrock talked about so much like we first talked about the food fight in the school and then we played 20 question
And then he asked me-
"Bell are you awake." My mom brought me back to reality.
"Yes mom what is it."
"Come down sweetie."
I groan and went down and saw my mom sitting on the couch and she was looking at me skeptically, I frown at her "What is it mom."
"I got a call from the school at afternoon." She says a small smile dancing on her. "Just thought you like to discuss about it."
"No, mom i don't want to talk about it."
"Bell, you know it's almost been a year since I have gotten any complaints of yours and-."
"Don't compete the sentence mom." I say sternly and she sighs.
"Listen child, I am happy for you. " she says and I smirk.
"Mom you know right if any one else would be in your position right now their children will be grounded because of what I did in the school right?"
My mom just laughs and comes closer to me "i am not like the other moms. you remember last year you had so many complaints you were like a balloon 'just go along the wind' type one and now you want to become the nerdy." A sad smile on her lips.
I hug her tightly "I miss him." She hugs me back, slowly my eyes tearing. I pull back and start wiping my eyes. My mom looks at me and smiles.
"You mentioned about him after a year."
"I-I have to sleep it's time ." Mom just nods and wipe her own tears and I turn around.
Mom has never cried in front of me she had always been the silent one.
