The voice stopped, that can't be it, there must be something else right. Or I'm going totally insane.

I forced my eyes to open. But I don't see anything, it's all dark. Everything hurt but I still kept my eyes open.

"Cody" I asked the thickening darkness.

Silence.

Just black.

I sobbed slowly unable to get out of this trance. I feel soft nudges against my face. Soon it tuned to a full on slapping. My body was unable to comprehend this much pain. I screamed out in pain widening my eyes.

I can see now, I see a boy I could faintly realize and Cody sitting just behind him. Both had wide eyes and shook expressions on there faces. I coughed loudly breaking them out of their trance. My throat still stinging my head going in all different circles but I managed to give them a smile. Cody harshly pushes away the other guy and comes closer to hold my frail body.

"JUNE" he spoke loud and clear now.

He pulls me into a big bear hug, I wince at the contact but continue to let him do so. He pulls away and speaks still holding on to me.

" June what just happened"

To be certain I don't even know that myself.

I opened my mouth but no words came out. I looked around my surroundings and saw the place all trashed, a large table that barricaded the main door, all different kinds of stuff laying on the ground. My eyes reach over to a small water bottle on the ground I try to reach it but my limbs give out. Cody understands what I am trying to do and helped me drink out the water.

I slowly began to sit instead of laying down on the floor. My eyes reach the not so unknown male standing slightly behind.

"You are" my voice came out quiet and raspy, but I'm sure he heard it.

The dude looked at me, he wore a black mask so I couldn't see his face. He swiftly pulls down the mask to his chin and spoke.

"I'm Jason, the one that went with Jess"

I was still drinking some water, but I stopped and sprayed it all over Jason. I looked at his face scrunching up.

"YOU WHAT" I yelled in his face.

"Shhh June don't make so much noise he might hear" Cody said trying to calm me down.

"I don't see how that was supposed to be a thanks fo saving you" Jason spoke utterly disgusted. Looking down at his half wet hoodie.

I don't know what hit me but it felt like more energy than I had in the last hour. I lunge myself on top of Jason grabbing his collar. His and Cody's face did not go unnoticed by me but I chose to ignore it.

"Where is Jess?" I asked well more like demanded.

"I-I-I don't-t know" He stammered.

"WHAT" I screamed again in his face.

Cody pried me of of Jason. ( it took quite a while )

I hug Cody's shirt tightly as I began to sob. My best friend all alone in this god damn darn place with a freak on the loose, who knows if she is even alive, she could just end up like Lauren. I sobbed harder into Cody's chest my fist making balls in his shirt, i felt his hands slowly rub on my back soothingly mumbling something in my ear but I can't hear it.

"June I'm sorry I don't know where Jess ran of to. She was with me when we went up the stairs but after that I couldn't find her"

I listened to Jason speak, unable to reply back. I looked at the ground recalling our conversation and furrow my eyebrows.

"Who?" I asked looking at Cody

I could see his puzzled expression, so I repeat it again.

"Who could hear us"

Both male's look at each other worried. There mouths not moving but there eyes held a battle stronger than many words

"Is it him" I look at Jason and he nods.

I throw my head back in exhaustion. I look back at the door and stood up. I grabbed the side of a broken bed stand before I fall flat on my face. Cody jumps up and holds my hand. I look at him straight in the eyes

"June you need to sit down your still unstable and you could fall unconscious again" his voice laced worry

"No I won't fall again, I think I know too much to be put into sleep just yet"

I slowly fling my arm, his grip falling from it. Now my eyes trail on the door to see how it was barricaded with wood planking's from a broken foot stool. I grabbed the plank that was covering the handle of the door and pulled at it harshly it only budged a little. I breath in and this time rips it off the door with a loud snap. I kick all the rest of the planks down and throws the door open. Looking back to see that both Jason and Cody are standing too. No words were necessary only actions.

I give them a small signal and they both move forward and out of the room. Jason looked around before stepping out. Cody looked utterly lost. Me, I grab one of the larger planks on the floor and move out too. As soon as my foot lands on the dirty concrete floor I feel like an aura being felt around us. I looked around to see a stair case, meaning we where going up. My eyes catch Cody's and he shakes his head.

"Don't you think we should be going down instead of going up" he speaks

I sigh

Jason moves forward to the large stair case and holds the railings. He looks up and down, his eyes stopping downstairs. Me and Cody walk over to Jason and sees his scared expression. Almost afraid I look down. Only to see completely dark black orbs were gazing up on us, one of hands holding on to an arm, an all too familiar body attached to it. Cody spoke in a quiet voice

"J-James"

The man smiles as soon as Cody spoke, his teeth covered in blood. His grip was so hard the blood inside began to dribble outside. James hand had large cuts and bruises, his face was almost unrecognizable. His eyes looked only at another pair,
