Isle of Protectors

"Vega, Orion, you promised! I told you ages ago, its my sisters coronation! The most important day of my kingdom, I cant do this now." Sofia complained.

"Sofia, we know. But you are the only one who can help us. Besides it's to help an old friend." Vega sighed heavily.

"Who is it?" Sofia huffed.

"Queen Elena of Avalor."

Sofia straightened at once, "Avalor's in trouble again?"

Vega shook her head. "The queen has requested your presence.. She won't allow anyone else from here to help. We've tried to convince her, but she refused to listen."

Sofia sighed, "Ok, Enchantlet; to Avalor!" Sofia swiped it once to the side then up. A portal appeared, showing Avalor castle. "Vega, I better get a week off to celebrate with my sister!"

As soon as the portal closed, Vega transformed into Prisma. "That will keep that pesky protector out of my way!"

Avalor

When Sofia stepped through, she found herself in Isa's bedroom. "Why am I in this room? Isabel?"

"Halt, who goes there?" A man demanded from the other side of the closed door.

Sofia took a deep breath and opened the door. "Hello sir, I'm Protector Sofia of Enchancia. I need to speak with Queen Elena at once."

The general frowned, "Her Majesty is not seeing anyone right now."

"And why not?"

"Where are you from?" The man demanded.

"Enchancia, I was the former Princess of the kingdom." Sofia replied.

"I'm Gabe, you're the princess who freed Avalor 14 years ago?" Gabe's eyes widened.

Sofia blushed, "that's me, what happened? The Protectors sent me here, for some reason."

Gabe sighed, "Follow me. A spell has come over Elena, and we thought Mateo could undo it, but it seems he can't. Mateo thought if Elena put on the Amulet, the spell on he4 would break."

"Where is she?" Sofia asked at once.

"She's in her room." Gabe replied leading the young woman next door.

"Gabe, I said I didn't want any visitors!" Elena moaned. The queen was on her stomach atop her bed, pillow over her head.

"Elena, the visitor is an old friend from Enchancia." Gabe started.

Elenas head popped up. "Who..." Elena turned to find Sofia standing there.

"Hello Elena, I heard about the spell. I am a sorceress in training. The Protectors thought I could help." Sofia stated.

"Will you excuse us, Gabe?" Elena winced slightly.

"Of course your Majesty." Gabe bowed deeply before leaving.

As soon as Gabe was gone, Elena picked up her Seaptar of Light. "Thank you for coming. I'm in trouble, and you are the only one who can help."

"How?"

"I was reading an old book in Mateos workshop one day, and it cursed me. Now, no one in the kingdom knows I'm different. I thought you could help, because..." Elena blushed.

"I broke all the curses you put on me? Is that why?"

Elena nodded.

Sofia sighed, "can you show me the book? I need to get home, today is Ambers coronation."

Elena gasped, "I'm so sorry!"

"Don't be. Does Mateo know you read that book?"

Elena shook her head. "I know I should have told him."

"Yes. While you do that, I need to fetch Cedric from my kingdom. I'll be back in 2 minutes." Sofia activated her Enchantlet, and stepped through to Cedrics workshop.

Enchancia

"Cedric?" Sofia called when she stepped through the portal.

Sighing in defeat, Sofia returned to Elenas room in Avalor. "Im sorry, looks like we're on our own. Why dont you fetch Mateo?"

Elena winced, "I cant."

"Why not?" Sofia asked confused.

"Im being bared from leaving my room!" Elena whimpered.

"Why not ask Zuzo for help? He is your spirit guide, right?" Sofia asked.

Elena sighed, "please get Mateo for me."

Sofia nodded and left at once. She bumped into Isabel.

"Sofia, of Enchancia? What are you doing here?" Isabel asked.

"I need to find Mateo, now, please."

"Um...I think Mateo is at the docks with Chancellor Naomi." Isabel shrugged. "Whats going on?"

"Im here to help your sister." Sofia answered.

"What? Elenas in trouble? Gabe did say she wished to not be disturbed." Isabel narrowed her eyes.

"I need to get to that dock, fast!" Sofia exclaimed.

"Come on, Elena gave me this to summon jaquins. One of them can help you." Isabel pulled a flute out of her dress.

"Ok, thank you." Sofia made her way to the ballroom and stepped outside. She blew the flute.

"Princessa, we're here! Hey you're not Elena!" A Joaquin landed in front of Sofia.

"Skylar? I rode on you 4 years ago when we freed Avalor!" Sofia brightened.

"Princessa Sofia?" Skylar asked.

"Yes! But now I'm Protector Sofia. I need to talk with Mateo. Can you give me a ride?" Sofia asked.

"Climb aboard!" Skylar got down and Sofia got on his back.

Enchancia

Amber looked around in approval nodding as all the final arrangements got into place.

"Ooh, Im so nervous Daddy! I hope I can be a good of a leader as you!" Amber turned to Roland.

"You will, and you'll have Hugo to help." Roland reassured her.

"I hope you're right Daddy." Amber fretted.

"Wheres Sofia? She's supposed to be here." Miranda frowned.

James shrugged, "Protector business?"

"James Sofia promised she'd be here for my coronation, and Sofia never breaks a promise." Amber protested.

"Emergency Protector mission maybe?" Roland asked nervously.

Although Amber had cooled off since she was a kid, her temper is still not something to test. The blonde woman took a deep breath and knew she couldn't be selfish.
That was the young snotty princess, not the older thoughtful queen. "I guess, it must really be important."

Two hours later, Amber was crowned Queen of Enchancia. As promised, as her first act, she gave her brother his well earned title as Sir James. Amber bestowed Sofia as the royal sorceress' assistance in her absence and also made her sister be next in line for the throne if she died without heirs.
