Chapter 2- The truth 💨

My heart was racing, my hands were sweaty, what did They do that was so bad?..
"I'm sorry, miss chunhei, but I like you to shut that mouth of yours and leave me and my friends alone." I set a power on each word as if I was confident in what I was saying. Chunhei looked surprised and she turned around and stormed of when she realised that everyone in the cafeteria was staring at her.
The rest of the day was boring and blurry my first school day didn't go as planned and Lara, Vendy and Sonia didn't seem so happy either. The next class the had was home economics and that seemed to lighten the mood when the teacher announced to pair in groups of 4 and we could make whatever we wanted.
"Let's make cupcakes!, i looove cupcakes!" Vendy was smiling a beautiful and stunning smile and she was swinging back and forth as she could wait to get started.
"Yes, chocolate cupcakes!" Sonia added trying to give a high five to vendy and that didn't go as planned, because Vendy was still swinging back and forth still full of excitement and she accidentally slapped Sonia in the forehead something we all laughed about.
"Yes let's get started!" Lara stood up and we went to our part of the kitchen, the kitchen was big with plane white walls and the grey carpets surrounded the floor something that seemed dumb.
We took out some indigents we needed and we found a recipe that seemed easy and good. And then we started cooking after some while the kitchen door opened a guy entered the kitchen, he had soft pink hair, sharp jaw line, and handsome features at that moment Lara froze she looked up from the chocolate frosting she was mixing and she gave Sonia and vendy a panicked look and both vendy and Sonia seemed to u understand the panic.
"What's wrong guys?" I asked looking at them.
The guy passed us and the sweet smell of his cologne surrounded us, he went to the kitchen table behind us were two boys that I hadn't noticed stood cooking something that smelled really delicious. Lara still seemed frozen as if she held her breath in, then she looked at me
"Avannia can I talk with you for a bit, outside?" She gave me a confident look as if she tried to hide the pain and panic in her eyes.
"I'll go with you to" Sonia added
"You should stay here vendy and look after the cupcakes in the oven we will be right back" Sonia turned to Vendy and vendy nodded seriously as if watching the cupcakes was the most important task she had gotten in her life.

"Avannia, so what chunhei said about us earlier is true or I won't say that it is a 100% true, but... I'll just start explaining.." we were standing in the hallway infront of the home economics kitchen, the hallways was empty and really quiet the yellow walls was blending her eyes and the strong brown colour of the floor didn't help much either.
"You saw that guys that entered right?, his name is jimin.. park jimin he was or used to be my boyfriend of 2 years we broke up or he broke up with me a few months ago, but the reason was that Chunhei went to him and told him I used him for clout and that I'll dump him after I got everything I wanted... that wasn't or still isn't true, that rumour spread thru the school and even my friends Ven and Sonia got dragged in and got called gold diggers. He broke up with me after that, I thought he believed in me and actually trusted me, but I was wrong...love isn't real, true love isn't real if it was he would had stayed with me.." tears were running down her face and Sonia wrapped her hands around her, even though this was the first day I had met Lara she seemed like a strong, outgoing person too cry like this didn't fit her face or personality.
"Lara, you are strong, I know that...but you shouldn't give up love just because someone have proven you wrong this was what Chunhei wanted she wanted to see you break down and..."
And then a loud beep started filling the school..and it was coming from their classroom..

We all ran inside and smoke was filling the room, it was hard to breathe and my lungs were burning. Students were running towards the exit, but we couldn't see Vendy anywhere. We came to our kitchen table and vendy was standing there with soot covering her whole face and with the cupcakes in her hands.
"Guys i think I let the cupcakes stay in for too long..." Vendy said that with such a innocent and cute voice it was hard not to laugh and we all broke down laughing. Then the fire alarm turned off and the students returned to the classroom and everyone was staring at us, we had soot covering our face and hands if I was them I would had stared too.
"AVANNIA ABERNATHY, JINNO SONIA, KANG VENDY AND KIM LARA, DO YOU GUYS CARE TO EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENED?" the home economic teacher yelled at us while her ginger puffy hair and chubby stomach was jingling.
"I- it was my fault Mrs Choi I forgot to take the cupcakes out of the oven that was my task and I failed it.." Vendy took a step forward with her head hanging down.
"No, no it was ours we left vendy all alone while we were supposed to share the responsibility.." I spoke up we couldn't let Vendy get all the blame,could we? Lara and Sonia was nodding while I was speaking.
"I don't really care, which one you who did this all of you will get 4 MONTH charity work at a place that the school has chosen for you!" The teacher ran her fingers thru her puffy hair aggressively.
"But-"
"NO, buts Miss Kim"
Then a sudden voice spoke up.
"They can work at my  entertainment company, they have charity work for children they can teach them how to swim, dance, sing and paint." Lara's ex boyfriend spoke up, what was his name again park jimin?. Lara's face turned red in surprise and both Sonia and Vendy were looking at each other confused as if they couldn't believe their ears.
The boy standing next to Jimin seemed surprised as well he was a lot younger than jimin and he was wearing our school uniform, he had soot black hair and charming dark brown eyes, he had a sharp jawline and bunny like teeth. I was probably staring because he turned around and we got eye contact, that's seemed to last for ever, my heart was racing for some reason and I quickly turned away, but my heart didn't slow down it was still beating fast as if it was about to pop out of my chest.
Who was he?.
And why did Jimin want to help us?.
