Chapter 4- Misery😖

It had been a week of working at the company, it was fun working with Sonia she was a great artist and we both had a lot of common techniques, but our art styles were totally different. I came into the company , today I was alone in my department, because Sonia got moved to the art supply section today while I had to teach kids form an orphanage downtown how to paint.
I was half thru the class when Sonia entered the classroom I was in the middle of teaching them how to paint a sun, Sonia didn't look good she seemed zoned out as if she was in another place. She was wearing some grey sweatpants and a oversized dark blue T-shirt something that didn't seem like she would dress in normally, okay I wasn't quite better either I was wearing some mom jeans with a lot of different stains from painting, and a yellow hoodie with some white sneakers something that didn't fit well today, and my hair looked like a diss formed bush.
"Sonia, you look tired today? Is everything okay?" I looked at her concerned. She looked up and seemed to realise that she was randomly standing in the middle of the room with all the children and their nuns.
"Oh.. sorry I was just here to ask you if you could go to the the storage room to get some paintings and stuff for me, I don't feel that well I can stay here and teach them while you are gone?"
I looked at her and saw how tired and sad she looked I was about to ask what was wrong, but I didn't wanna pressure her since she didn't look comfortable or good at all.
"Alright, sure" I put down the brush I was using and walked towards the door, I went down the hallway and headed for the stairs as I knew that the elevator would be full at this time. I went up the stairs and when I reached the last floor I was breathing heavily and I already knew without seeing myself in the mirror I was probably red as a tomato. I went inside the storage room and every shelf were filled with different kind of papers, paintings in every colour you could think of, pencils, brushes and a lot more I went and looked and touched every colour and brushes in my reach and then I saw silhouette in the corner of my eye and I jumped as a scared cat and hit my head at the shelf, ouch I felt my head throbbing in pain I looked and saw the boy that was in our home economic class he was a friend of jimin Lara's ex... he had his hair newly brushed and he wore all black and he seemed sweaty.
"I'm sorry.. I didn't see you there" He flashed a shy smile and awkwardly touched his hair.
"It's alright it was my fault I was dumb enough not see that someone was inside here" I awkwardly stepped back while he was studying me closely something that didn't make me comfortable.
"Um, may I ask what you are doing here?" I asked trying to lift the awkward mood.
"I'm hiding from the workers" he answered shortly without hesitating.
"Oh, that's cool.. no wait it's not cool you should be whatever place you have to be" He looked at me trying to hide his smirk.
"Yes, it's cool I know"
"I didn't mean that,it's NOT cool, you should go now" I waved with my hand towards the door.
"Are you kicking me out?" You could see that he trying not to laugh
"Yes, I'am shu shu, don't overwork the employees" I waved my hands even more.
"You sound like my mom" he couldn't hold in his laughter anymore.
"What did you just say?" I put on my most bossiest mommy voice ever and looked at him.
"Alright, alright I'll leave" he walked towards the door and when he was about to go out he looked back and said "remember to put ice on your head you hit it quite hard" and left.

We had lunch now and vendy and Sonia didn't seem all happy both of them seemed quiet and gloomy. Vendy had her hair down and she wore a blinding orange shirt and some black jeans, while Lara had her dark hair up and she wore a denim skirt with a white t-shirt.
"So do you guys wanna sleep over at my place this weekend?" I asked trying my best to sound enthusiastic.
"Yes, sure" Vendy lifted up her head form her food.
"Ye,sounds fun" Sonia didn't even look up.
"Why is everyone down?" Lara asked looking at Vendy and Sonia.
"No, nothing" Vendy replied.
"Nothing" Sonia Said following Vendy.
"Alright then, and I'm in too Avannia..like to sleep over" Lara didn't even bother asking more she just turned around focusing on her food and the rest of the lunch was oddly quiet.

*Lara*
"You were the one who broke up with me!, what are you putting all the wrong on me!" I pointed at Jimin furious that he even dared to complain. I felt my blood boiling with anger.
"I didn't even mean it like that Lara.." Jimin took a step forward, but I stepped back as fast as i could.
"You didn't believe me..everyone thought I was a gold digger, because of you I have a bad reputation, because of you my friends get looked down at, because of you everyone looks down at me, I don't need your excuses so just stop" I looked at him it felt like my whole body was on fire.
"Lara can you at least listen to me..? Like what actually happened?" Jimin tried to calm me down, but it don't quite help much, to see him that calm didn't calm me down at all.
"Alright I'll listen, but i don't promise to forgive you or anything, I actually have something called self respect I don't know if you have heard of that"
Then he started explaining, I was confused and shocked.
Who was this girl? And what did she want from me? And should I be afraid?
