Artemis fowl basked in the shade of the coffee shop. The heat didn't suit him, no it didn't.
His throat was parched, even though the cold air of London surrounded him. This was his first time without Butler, and he felt lonely.
Lonely? That's new.
A girl with blonde hair rushed to him saying "I'm sorry I'm late Artemis."
"Spare me the dramatics and sit down lady."
Lady? Artemis, I believe you've gone too far.
Artemis hit his temples. Ever since he had been cloned, a separate voice had grown in the back of his mind. And it definitely wasn't his criminal side.
"Alice Kingsleigh, I do believe you have something to show me."
"Yes I do."
Artemis called on a nearby waitress and asked for a cup of green tea. He didn't like green tea, he only wanted to look fancy and feel fancy, nothing else.
