Young 15 year old Alice already has a lot on her plate (planned arranged marriages and her older sisters constant bullying), when suddenly she finds herself in a confusing and topsy-turvy world ruled by a malicious Red Queen. She is suddenly forced into an elaborate game of chess where the pieces are insane and eccentric people with violent tendencies, and the board is a kingdom crawling with strange creatures and even stranger places. Now Alice must face the Red Queen and win the game, or else her and Wonderland will collapse into ruin.
