i was awakened by a small tap on my shoulder and a soft voice muttering my name as i stirred. i let out a small groan as i turned to him opening my eyes to look at him properly. He gazed up at me and offered a soft smile. "wake up sleepy" i roller over and turned my watch around so i could see the time clearly. 4:57 pm it read. "wait how long did i sleep?" i asked obviously confused "for about seven hours dumbass so get up" i sighed chuckling slightly and got out of my bed following him to the living room.

It was sunday therefor school was tomorrow. I was nervous to join a new school, what if they hated me, what if benji didn't talk to me in school. I shrugged of the idea and followed him to the living room. Benji got out some games for the both of us to play, monopoly and ludo being the two that we eventually played. I won of course. Benji glared playfully at me and gave me a light hearted push, which sent me toppling on the sofa. i sat and glared at him pulling him down also. He tackled until i couldn't move my arms and that's when it happened. He looked down at me staring into my eyes for what felt like eternity. i found myself staring back as he leant down.
"boys we're back" benji's mum said opening the door of the house with two handfuls of shopping bags. We pulled apart instantly, me practically throwing benji off. He looked at me, his face red as ever and went to help his mum.
i stayed sitting down on the floor completely frozen for what felt like an hour, but in reality was only a couple minutes. did he feel what i felt? and was he really about to lean in? i sighed trying to to let my imagination get the best of me. after a minute or two i snapped out of it and walked to the kitchen to get a glass of water and to greet his parents. benji was in there also helping pack away the shopping as his parents went back to the car to collect the rest. He looked up at, his eyes immediately connecting with mine. It was quickly over benji blushing and turning away, before heading up to his room.
