Today was the day we filmed the scene with Elton and Renate meeting; I was super nervous - more nervous than dancing for the movie - because they're all counting on me.
I got dressed in something casual since I wasn't dancing and Julian was going to dress me.
I throw my hair in a bun and left for set, Dad and Papa went along with because they were excited to see how the scenes play out, I was so nervous! I'm not an actress, what the hell am I gonna do? Either way, I practiced my lines all week so I think I was ready.
We arrived at set. Dexter and Matthew were there along with Julian and Lizzie to dress and make me up. "Lizzie. Julian, are you guys ready to turn my daughter into a Star?" Dad asks with his arm around my shoulders, "we sure are! Are you ready Hendryx?" Julian asked. "Yes I am" I simply say, smiling. "Well awesome. Let's go!" Lizzie cheers and I walk along with them. I look back at my parents and they wave. Oooh this is going to not be good.

Lizzie takes me first, We do makeup and planned was a subtle natural look, I also had to put blue contacts in, I was very squimish of them in my eyes. I leaned back in the chair and Lizzie tried to put them in my eyes. "Okay, Hendryx, sit still." Lizzie told me and I tried my best.
After 5 minutes, we finally got them in:

"Take a look?" Lizzie asked and I turned to the big mirror. "Oh wow! I never had blue eyes before so this is a come up" I told her. "Alright, let's get the hair and makeup.
The makeup was as I said, subtle. Not too flashy even though that was my style. She added the last color on my lids and put matte pink lipstick on my lips. She got done and started my hair. After it all came out wonderful:
