04. Blue Rose Captain

This is the last introduction or backstory for Giselle I sWeAr,,,

Asdfghjkl into the story.

Six months just flew by in the blink of an eye. After her little 'sparing' with her brother and had caused some damages to their property, needless to say they're grounded for two weeks. No magic, no books, and no sword training. That two weeks have been a hellhole for the Regenbo siblings. But because their father is a softie, they're easily let go after that, much for the servants dismay.

Macsen went with Giselle to the place where the exam will be held. He wear a simple white shirt with long sleeves that have on purpose wrinkles to it on the seams. To put more style to it, he added a sleeveless blue vest with golden thread on the bottom. He also wear a black pants that he fold at the end because it's too long and a rather stylish shoes. To add to his charm, he tied a turquoise sash around his waist. Belt from his right shoulder and going down diagonally and his sword strapped on the back.

He hold his sister's hand rather tight, feeling mixed between nervous and excited. His eyes sparkling, he can't stop smiling and his cheeks red to his ears. But Giselle didn't miss the shaking of his knees and cold sweats from his balled hands. She give it a reassuring squeeze, startling him. He looked down, looking at her quizzically. She give him a big grin, giving that 'Its's fine' feeling. His eyes bulged, before it went warm and he smiled back. Then, they continue to walk to their destination.

They have arrived at their destination. Giselle was actually allowed to watch because her family provide some stuff for the upcoming test. Her father had come here before they can so he could actually prepared some stuff. The Regenbo is known for their services for the kingdom with their intelligence over structure and arts. They also provide some founding on magic improvement for the magic knights. So even though they're not known for being powerful, like the Silva family or the Vermillion, they're still being respected rather highly by the nobles.

Giselle was watching from the other side of where her father is. Her hands holding tight to the ledges as she bend down to look over her brother. She feel nervousness swelled up against her chest. She know that her brother is one of the best magic user but... It's just, scared her. The feeling of her brother failing.

She shook her head, dissipate the bad gut feeling. She watch as the announcement about to begin.

Like always, the opening will be held by one of the magic knight captain. This time, the one who come forward is a man with a long ginger hair. His sharp violet eyes looming over the new recruits that gulping slowly. His red cloak swishing over the wind as he revealed himself to be the Crimson Lion's Captain, Fuegoleon Vermillion.

His strong presences melt as he smiled, doing his speech, "We shall now begin... The magic knights entrance exam!" He raised his hand up, cheers can be heard throughout the place. He held his hand down, making all the voices to shushed, "We're going to get you through multiple tests! Us nine captains of magic knights will observe your progression and then we will select candidates we want in out brigades! Those who are not chosen by any of us will be judged as lacking the talents to join!" He said with strictness in his voice. But his tone softened, "But, you can participate later next year. So don't take it too deep and please! Do your best!" He all shout.

All the participants roared, they fist pump their hands up in the air. The ground shaking and the air waving as the excitement build up. Giselle need to cover her ears just from that.

The first test they placed a magic crystal in the middle of the field. She look over. Isn't that the one they mined from a dungeon three months ago? The one who discovered it was the Green Praying Mantis' magic squad. Her father helped to filed it and observing the power and how to use this magic crystal to it's full potential.
