Hey Ava.
The plane touched down in New Zealand just over a day ago. Currently, I’m sprawled out on the plush king-size bed, writing this letter to you. The hotel’s only temporary though, I’m on the lookout for some people to room with.
Maybe I’ll find some friends in them. I’ve spotted two ads that interest me, both looking for a non-smoking female my age. One of them is with 8 other people, another with 4.
I’m not really all that good with people in general. Lately my social skills have disappeared almost completely.
I’ll probably choose the second option. And once I’ve found a place to stay, I can apply to join the University just down the road. It’s currently the holidays for them, so I’ve got some time.
Wish me luck, yeah?
I hope that I appeal to them, I’d really like to live somewhere where I’m appreciated, and acknowledged. Not just because of my appearance and status though. I’ve had enough of ‘friends’ who just come for my looks or popularity.
And that’s the great thing about starting fresh in a new country, I can leave my past behind.
...At least I hope I can.
I love you and I miss you so much. Keep believing in me.
