*Isaac POV*

"You mean that we have to fucking lock ourselves up?!" Theo screamed, clearly unhappy with the current situation.

"I still don't get why we have to," Scott muttered, confused as hell.

"You guys are all gonna go feral though!" Stiles argued, "I don't really fancy being werewolf dinner today-"

"You're already werewolf dinner," Erica muttered, referring to him being Derek's little crush.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT MEANT TO MEAN?!" Stiles screamed, making everyone wince.

"First of all, Erica, learn how to shut the fuck up. Stiles, call down. Actually, everyone needs to calm the fuck down. We just need to lock ourselves up for one full moon because if we don't, we are gonna rip each other's heads off. If you want to kill one of your fellow pack members, then be my guest. I won't be paying for the funeral," Derek ordered us.

For some reason, I felt scared. I had a feeling that this night would go horribly wrong. Looking around, I mainly saw annoyance in everyone's expression. That didn't help my discomfort whatsoever. Scott seemed to notice and shuffled closer to me. His presence alone seemed to calm my nerves. There was something about him that I just couldn't quite put my finger on.

"What about Stiles and Liam?" Theo questioned. "They can't be left on their own."

Derek sent Theo a death glare. I had a feeling that they both knew something we didn't. This was problematic because secrets always seem to tare us apart. Still, I didn't speak up just in case I was wrong in my assumption, or that they had an extremely good reason for not sharing it with us.

"Theo, follow me. Everyone else, go and do something productive," Derek ordered, leaving us with no room for discussion.

We watched as Theo followed Derek out the main door. Erica let out a sigh but then managed to get Stiles and Liam back up the stairs with the help of Boyd and Mason. The rest of us remained stood still, not knowing what to do. I mean, we could get all the chains together but none of us wanted to admit that we would need them; even if Derek said we did.

"Scott, do you have any idea what's going on?" Allison asked eagerly.

I looked at him, waiting for an answer. He met my stare and from his expression, I could tell that he didn't know anything that I didn't. Letting out a deep sigh, I shuffled around, trying to find rope and chains for the rest of my pack.

Jackson looked at me in confusion and questioned, "Isaac, what do you think you're doing?"

"This moon is special. Even though we think that we can control ourselves during a full moon, it is still better to take precautions," I reply unenthusiastically.

Looking up, I see half of the wolves stare at me in anger and disappointment. They really didn't want to be locked up - and truth be told, neither did I; but this was something that we had to do, especially due to the fact that there will be humans around. Guilt washed over me as I knew that I couldn't make everyone happy but I had to follow orders from my alpha. Shifting my gaze, I looked over at Scott who gave me a comforting smile and started to help find anything that could hold us back for the full moon.

*Theo's POV*

"Make this quick; Liam needs me to keep him warm," I ordered, not caring if it would piss Derek off.

He let out a sigh and argues, "Cuddling him will only prolong it, not cure it. We need to find something before tonight."

"Like that will happen," I mutter before suggesting, "We could just figure out how to keep control so that we can stay with them. That could work. I don't really like the idea of Liam FREEZING to death!"

"If it hurt not to have any contact with him, would you be able to refrain yourself?" My alpha asked.

I remained silent as I knew that I couldn't provide the answer that he was looking for. I bowed my head in shame.

"Theo, concentrate. We need to come up with a solution before the moon rises."

Looking at him in disbelief, I complain, "I'm not the smart one. Why are you looking at me for answers? You should be asking Stiles or even Lydia."

"True, but they don't know what we know."

"Which is?"

Derek face palms. I could feel the stress radiating off of him.

"For fuck's sake Theo. I'm referring to the whole mates thing," He stated, muttering the last part.

I thought for a second before suggesting that we should tell them, which ended with Derek getting more frustrated and running off to who knows where. I decided that I had wasted enough time away from Liam so started to head back to my bedroom.

I had nearly made it to the staircase before Scott asked, "What were you and Derek discussing?"

Shrugging my shoulders, I continued to walk to my bedroom. Half way up the stairs, I caught Isaac's glance of worry and concern. He was catching on and seemed to have put everyone else in control. I was grateful for that but it made me realise that they deserved to know what was going on. Letting out I sigh, I proceeded up the staircase and eventually, reached my bedroom. Creaking open the door, I saw Liam cuddling with Boyd, shivering in his embrace. Part of me wanted to growl but I didn't want to upset either of them.

"Hi," I announced, informing them of my presence.

Liam jumped up and stumbled over to my embrace. He hugged me and I held him tightly. No matter what Derek said, I was going to stay with Liam tonight.

I dragged Liam back to the bed and pulled the duvet over us. Thanking Boyd, he got the messaged and left us, gently closing the door behind us. I looked over at Liam and gave him my best fake smile. The next few hours were going to be extremely chaotic...

Hiya guys. Apologies for my inactivity. Unfortunately, updates will still be extremely irregular so don't expect another chapter to be coming out tomorrow. I might try and start to frequently update but I'm not really sure yet. If anything, I'll probably be working on oneshots or start a new book because this one is really old and I don't really know where it is going. Best case scenario, I'll finish this one soon in not so many chapter and start a different one that I don't get a lot of writer's block on. Sorry again. I'll try and update but it seems unlikely that it'll last long. You guys deserve an update, even if it is really bad.
