light whispers to shadow, "papa, why are you sad?"
shadow yells at light, "baby, why are you happy?"

light takes a minute to think, then says, "because shadows aren't meant to live in darkness", then pulls shadow up behind him.

shadow looks at light, teary-eyed, and says, "i was hidden for far too long, i forgot what happiness is like in the sun."
