Chapter 5

I was now on the plane. I made my way to my seat, and sat down. I made myself comfortable and just went through my phone.

My dad sure didn't stay cheap, and got me a seat in first class. I understand that I am a famous singer and all, but all of this really isn't necessary. A regular seat on a plane wouldn't bother me at all. But hey, who am I to complain.

As I was going through my phone, I could notice that the seat next to me was being taken. I didn't pay much attention to it, except that it was a girl. She was pretty young, maybe like 15 years old. After a couple of minutes, the silence between the two of us broke as she noticed me.

,,Oh My God...Is it really you?" She said out of nowhere with a large smile plastered on her face.

,,Excuse me? Are you talking to me?" I asked her in confusion after  noticing that she was looking at me while talking.

,,Uhm yeah...sorry...I will introduce myself. My name is Catalina and I...it is just that I am a huge fan of yours that's all..." She said being a little shy. You could see that she was very excited to see me.

,,Well Catalina, It seems like you and I will have 13 hours to spend together." I told her and smiled. 

(A/N I don't exactly know how long is the flight from Buenos Aires to LA so we will go with this)

,,Wow..I am...Wow...Sorry it is just that you are my biggest idol, I have been looking up to you since your days in the studio and I just can't believe that you are actually here. My biggest dream ever was to meet you." She told me out of breath.

,,Well, It looks like your dream came true. I really need some company for this flight anyway. What would I do for 13 hours without talking to anyone really?"

,,I guess so. Umm...I know it might me a little inappropriate and all...since we are on a plain and....but...Do you mind taking a picture with me?" She asked, unsure if I would give her a positive answer, but how could I even try to say no to her? She is too sweet.

,,Of course I would...but...you need to promise me one thing."

,,Oh my god thank you, thank you, thank you and sure whatever you need."

,,Well...can you not post the picture anywhere until we land? I don't want too many people waiting for me at the airport. I just can't deal with it all. Nobody knows that I left Buenos Aires, and I am not planning to tell the public until I get there."

,,Of course, don't worry I promise. I understand. It can be hard to be a celebrity. I kind of understand why you want to take a break. It can be really stressful sometimes."

,,You don't even know...hey we can talk about that later. Didn't you want a picture?"

,,Oh yes again thank you SO MUCH. You honestly have no idea how much you mean to me. This one picture could actually change my life FOREVER." She told me all excited. After that we took a couple of pictures, and now it was time for the plane to take off.

It has been about two hours into the flight now. I finished a movie, and talked to Catalina a little.

,,So...LA?"She asked all of a sudden.

,,Yup." I answered while playing with a bracelet on my hands.

,,I know it might be a little inappropriate to ask this...but...Is it true? You know...the stuff about you and Leon? I know paparazzi can make stuff sound different than they actually are." Seriously, this girl is so sweet.

,,Well...no. It is not true. I talked to him. You have no idea how mad he got when he found out about all of it. Plus...I have been with him long enough. I know him. After everything we have been through...I just know he wouldn't do such a thing to me."

,,Everything you have been through?..."she asked but then stopped herself,,Umm...I am sorry...you don't know me for too long and here I am asking you all of these personal questions...I will stop."

,,Oh no no no...don't worry. You are my friend now anyway. Ask me whatever you'd like." I told her as she turned her gaze back to me.

,,Well...umm what do you mean everything you've been through?"

,,Well...this is a pretty long story....let's just say...we broke up about four times..." I told her and laughed in the end. Catalina soon joined me.

,,Wow...four times???" She asker through giggles.

,,Yes..."

,,Okay then...let's just talk about somehing else."

,,I agree." I said and then we talked for a while.

We were now both getting really tired, so I just decided to go to sleep, and Catalina soon joined me....She is really nice. I am glad I had some company during this flight.

,,Just a couple of hours left" was the last thought that came to my mind, before I zooned off.

《---TIME SKIP---》
After what felt like a really loooong nap, I woke up as I felt my back hurt. Looks like I was sleeping in an uncomfortable position. I streched a little, and asked the flight attendant if they can get me some kind of a drink. I was a little thirsty.

As the blonde woman came back, now with a drink in her hands, I thanked her and noticed Catalina waking up.

,,Hellooo." I said as I took a couple of sips of the drink.

,,Hey." She greeted me a little sleepy,,How much longer until we land." She asked nicely

,,About an hour. Not too long."

,,Oh nooo...that means I won't be able to talk to you again." She told me a little disappointed

,,Hey, hey...don't be sad. You became my friend...you can totally DM me sometimes and we could talk..."

,,Really?"

,,Yes really."

,,I just want to tell you something...something I wanted to tell you for a long time. Pretty much since I know about you..."

,,Sure, go ahead."

,,Well, I just wanted to tell you that...you mean a lot to me. More than you even think. I grew up with you and your music. Whenever I am sad or mad, I just put my headphones on and listen to your music, and I automatically feel better. You mean a lot to me AND my friends. I am glad I met you and spent some time with you, even if it was just on a plane. I will never forget this day. I just wanted you to know that and that I really hope that you will get back to music soon..."

,,Thank you so much. Your words really touched me. We have about an hour until we land...so let's make the best of it shall we?"

The most interesting flight ever. I was never able to interact with a fan as much as I did today. She made me feel a little better and made the time pass quickly. If she wasn't there...this would've felt even longer than it was supposed to be...
