The truth of the C-class hero

1 - New beginnings

A 'pop' sound echoed throughout the room, followed by a couple seconds of silence then loud voices started yelling at each other.

"EVERYONE SHUT UP" A lone voice yelled above the rest.

Everyone turned to look around for the voice, only to find no indication that any of them said anything.

"Thank you. Anyway, I've brought you here to watch a show about a very underappreciated C - class hero, those who were present when the meteor incident happened will know who im talking about."

Two people slowly nodded their heads, while the others had sounds of protest at being teleported to a random room.

"As I thaught... Well you might as well sit down and enjoy the show" As soon the voice said that, a bunch of pillows and bean bags appeared on the floor, along with a giant box of popcorn next to each.

As soon as everyone sat down a certain psychic interrupted

"Is no one going to question how we got here?"

She received a chorus of no's and nope's in reply.

"I am really excited about seeing what Saitama-sensei was like before I met him" Genos exclaimed as everyone quieted once again.

He gained a few confused looks and a "Yeah," from Silver Fang but otherwise no comments as the big screen at the front lit up.

It showed a peaceful day, birds singing, people talking and laughing. Until an explosion went off in the distance, smoke covering everything and the laughter turned into screams of terror and fading footsteps as everyone ran away.

"Of course, nothing here is ever peaceful," Metal bat sighed

"As you can see explosions are going off behind me, the wake of destruction left by this monster is at an unprecedented scale. The hero association is analyzing the threat level in order to- eug"

A lone figure sits in front of a now black screen.

"Guess i'll go," a bored voice sighed.

The same guy in a hero suit came walking out and big bold words saying 'Justice Enforcement' came up on screen.

"Who is that?" Came from Child emperor while the others either just shooshed him, or nodded curiously as well, causing him to sigh and continue watching.

There was no one in sight, except for a child, whose cries for her parents were left unheard by other people.

The heros in the room looked down, ashamed that they weren't there to help a child. Metal bat clenched his fists, him having a little sister around her age making him more worried than the others.

A monster walked behind her, laughing evilly as it stretched out its hand to grab her.

All the heros were on the edges of their seats, their instincts kicking in as heroes to save the girl when Metal Knight said,

"Hey, isn't that the monster King defeated?"

As he said that, everyone turned to King, whose heart is beating fast at them finding out his secret.

"Actually, I wasn't there, someone else defeated it but everyone assumed it was me" King replied to the heros muttering under his breath 'like always,'

"What was that?" Drive Knight said, being the only one that heard him, thanks to sitting close enough.

"Nothing you need to worry about" King sighed, shaking his head slowly

Before the monster could grab the girl, a yellow blur grabbed her. The monster's head turned to see the same  bald man as before, setting the now unconscious girl gently on the ground.

"Hey is that guy from before!" Child emperor yelled, pointing at the screen while facing everyone else. He got a series of nods, and noticing he was blocking the screen, sat back down again.

"Your a fast one, who are you?" The monster spoke, while attempting to intimidate the hero.

'That's what I want to know too' Child emperor muttered to himself

"Just a guy who's a hero for fun" Saitama said blankly, causing the monster to glare at him.

"Your kidding," Child emperor exclaimed, exasperated.

"Your kidding, what kind of half-assed back-story is that?" He said while turning to face Saitama

"Mine's far superior, I was born from the pollution man brought upon the earth, I AM VACCINE-MAN! The earth is a single living organism, you filthy humans are nothing but a disease causing bacteria eating away at the precious life force, in order to wipe out humanity and the evil civilization built on her surface, the eath and her infinite wisdom has given birth to me! You say you do this for fun, for fun! How dare you confront mother earth for such an insignificant reason!" The monster yelled at Saitama who, in response, punches him once, causing the monster to be obliterated.

The heros just sat there in shock for a few moments then

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT" Metal bat yelled to the screen, not expecting that. The other heroes had the same reaction apart from Genos, who was well aware of his Sensei's power.

"Not again, all it took was one punch, DAMMIT" Saitama cried to the sky, just wanting something strong enough to withstand his power enough for it to be a fair fight.

The heros sat there, just staring at the screen blankly, not expecting the sudden anguish of the hero.

Ok, this is my first story so if you have any feedback that would be great, and if you would like me to continue please let me know because I have been looking for a story like this for ages, and apart from one, I wasn't able to find any, so I thaught, why not make one. There is another story that I got this idea from, so if you could go first that out that would be great. It's called The unsung hero.
