"jeonggukiee, taebear want smoochieeess"

jeongguk growns and turns away from his laptop, turning his head to face the door to his office behind him. "im busy, taehyung. i told you im working, didnt i ?" he frowns

taehyung flinches at the harsh tone but pushes it aside, walking closer to his caregiver. "b-but i want kissies.." he mumbles, swaying from side to side in nervousness.

jeongguk hates ignoring taehyung in favor of work, he truly does, but it's important. plus he gave taehyung more than enough attention before he started working, but the elder insists he beg for more.

he shouldve known nothing is enough for taehyung.

"i dont care, i gave you lots before i started working. the more you bother me, the longer you'll have to wait for my attention. so go, taehyung." he turns around with an eye roll, not realizing or even caring to see how his harsh words affected the older, and goes back to what he was doing before he was interrupted.

after the little processes the words, he nods, turns around, and softly shuts the door to leave his boyfriend in peace. he fidgets with his fingers and decides to play with his toys in the living room and before he knows it, tears fall from his eyes.

the boy gasps, wiping his tears with frustration which just causes more to fall. he doesnt know why jeongguk snapped like that, he only asked twice ! he didn't have to be a meanie butt, taehyung thought.

maybe if you werent such a clingy little, this wouldnt have happened. the little sighs and stands up from his spot on the carpet and sits on the couch, turning on the tv to a more 'adult' channel.

in no time, to his relief, he slips out of his headspace, and soon enough jeongguk comes walking in, yawning while stretching his arms over his head.

taehyung ignores him.

the younger plops down right next to taehyung, and rests his head on his shoulder, not uttering a word. after a few minutes of complete awkward (from taehyung's end) silence, the smaller stands up abruptly, jeongguk gasping when his head almost falls at the unexpected, rushed movement. "gonna shower," is all he mumbles before walking down the hallway and slamming the door to the bathroom shut, leaving jeongguk confused and annoyed.

taehyung didn't talk to jeongguk very much the next day, much to jeongguk's annoyance.

the elder knew he was being unreasonable and petty, but jeongguk didn't care enough about his feelings when he was rude to taehyung and impatient when he was in his headspace, even knowing he should be ten times more patient than he is with big taehyung.

so that leads to taehyung not eating with jeongguk like he usually does, not kissing or cuddling him, exiting every room he's in, even going as far as not cuddling him in his sleep, even if he doesn't sleep well.

"taehyung, can we talk ?"

it's been three days, and taehyung hasn't slipped since.

the second day of ignoring jeongguk was easier, only because he had to work most of the day. when he came home, the elder was already bathed and asleep.

now, they're eating dinner together (guk cooked for tae and he couldn't resist the younger's hopeful expression when he offered to eat together). taehyung didn't expect them to not properly speak to each other for three whole days, but jeongguk hasn't apologized yet, and taehyung couldn't bring himself to bring it up.

maybe he doesn't even realize, he thinks, worrying his bottom lip between his teeth and fidgeting with his fingers. he hears a dull, almost silent call of his name, but his thoughts are louder. does he even care ? what if he knows and is super mad..

he's startled out of his thoughts when jeongguk cups his cheeks gently, not even noticing his caregiver got up from his seat and rushed to taehyung, but he's there. he's touching him after days of being deprived from those warm hands he'd grown to love, has almost forgotten how it felt to be stared at with those sparkly eyes filled with wonder and admiration and love.

taehyung's a weak man, and melts.

"hey, baby, focus on me, yeah ? listen to my voice, angel." taehyung whimpers with a nod, eyes taking in the beauty holding him so gently as he slips, easy to since he hasn't in the past few days.

jeongguk smiles, finding it endearing how the boy always melts in his hands, always so obediant and pliant. "why have you been avoiding me, baby ? what's been upsetting my prince ?" he brings a hand up to taehyung's hair. scratching his scalp good enough for taehyung to preen loudly, a flush coming to the little's cheeks.

"daddy w-was bein a meanie to t-taetae .. said he didn care." he slurs, looking down towards their toes as he realizes he's so overwhelmed tears start to form in his eyes.

jeongguk frowns before titling the boy's head up with his index and thumb, "im so sorry angel, daddy didn't mean it. he was mad and he shouldn't have said that to taetae, he should've said it nicer and talked about it after." he speaks gently, leaving a kiss on the little's forehead.

taehyung nods, mumbles an "it's okay" before hugging his caregiver tightly, pressing a kiss to his neck. "love you.." he slurs sleepily, jeongguk chuckling when he realizes the little's falling asleep.

the younger walks up the stairs to get them both ready for bed, even if it's way too early. when he's finished, he shuffles them both under the covers, playing with taehyung's hair as the smaller finally let's out a content huff when he's comfortable enough to start lulling into sleep. falling asleep with a smile on his face as jeongguk whispers "i love you"s into his ears.

jeongguk stays like that for hours before finally stopping his ministrations in taehyung's hair, kissing all over the elder's face gentle enough so he wouldn't wake up, and eventually falling asleep.

this was rushed and unedited and boring and gross and dumb im sorrys :[ i wanted to actually update since it's been a while,, but i hope you still like it even if there's not much fluff,,, just 1000 words of petty taehyung and a small glimpse of one of their many dumb feuds (?) in their relationship

please let me know if you'd like to see more of taeguk's not so fluffy moments so i'd feel more comfy posting a drabble if and when i eventually write another small angsty one,,, i have many drafts of fluff and one of jealous guk that has some vmon in it but i rarely have motivation for anything these days im sorry )):

i plan on updating more about taehyung and jeongguk at the start of their relationship, so if you'd like that please let me know !! i'll post one and see if i like it but i'd like to still know your opinions :]] !!
