She carefully observed every move Senku makes. There is just something about the way he works his way around that made her want to hate him, but can't since she knew that he never did anything that deserved her hate. She tried to hide her frown and irritation every time she heard his voice.
She needs to stop, seriously.
Senku continued talking, giving directions and explaining why they needed to do that certain step and why it was important to follow his instructions. It is incredible, actually. He's talking like making refrigerators was his daily thing. He never even needed to pause to think things through.
That's what a real genius is.
Having enough of what she saw, Inoko sighed and carefully stood up from her seat. Ukyo noticed this and called her.
"Inoko." he called. "Are you okay?"
She gave him a small smile, thankful for his kindness. Although it was such a small act, it was something that she really needed badly, especially now that she's having an internal dilemma against herself.
"I'm fine. I'm just hungry," she answered. "I'll just go get some food."
"Oh." Ukyo chuckled softly. "You sure you can walk?"
"Yes. I'm actually feeling better!"
Ukyo looked at her seriously, not believing what she said. He looked at her eyes, as if daring her to tell a lie and he would immediately know what was up.
Inoko maintained eye contact. "If I look away, I will look suspicious." It was something she learned from a random psychology book she picked up back when she was still in grade school.
It did not take long for Ukyo to shrug and let her be.

She lied. She was not really hungry. She just wanted to be away from other's presence and to be alone for now.
Their base, although now housing more members due to the added people from Senku's village, has only a few people inside. Most of them are busy doing something; like doing repairs. Because of this, finding a spot where she can be alone will be much easier.
She had her arm on the walls to maintain her balance as she walked and to also lessen the pressure on her leg. Her eyes scanned everything that she could see, taking her time to appreciate the environment she lived on for a year. Not that she had any fond memories to treasure in this place.
She continued her... sightseeing. This will probably be the last that she will be able to do this. If she's not wrong, after Senku finished making the refrigerator for Tsukasa and the plans he had for them, they will immediately go back to the Kingdom of Science's base, and from what she heard, it is a small village. It is where Senku ruled after all. Inoko is not sure of what to think about the plan to change place, it was already obvious from the very start. It's just that... they will surely need to adjust to the change in scenery.
