There she was. Parking her motorcycle and walking in the park with her hands in her jacket's pocket. Looking at the red, orange, yellow and brown leaves of the trees. Autumn was always Jeongyeon's favorite season.
Now as she arrived at a hill she saw a beautiful girl leaning her back at a big sycamore tree and looking up at the tree not minding the leaves that are falling at her angelic face.
She was so gorgeous that even Jeongyeon didn't notice that she was staring at her for a while.
She wanted to talk to her, but she was so nervous and didn't know why. So she just stared at her again admiring her beauty.
After a few minutes she decided to approach the girl and so she did.
"Uhm..Hi." She said waving at her. The stranger looked at her and said. "You shouldn't talk to strangers." And looked up again.
Jeongyeon was shocked and confused. "But what if I wanna get to know you?" Jeongyeon asked tilting her head.
"And why do you wanna get to know me?" The girl looked at her and crossed her arms. "Isn't that the way you make friends?" Jeongyeon asked.
"So you want to be my friend?" The girl asked in curiosity. "Is there any problem with it?" Jeongyeon asked smiling a little bit.
"I can't see why not." The girl said. "My name is Jeongyeon." Jeongyeon said offering her hand for a shake. "Mina." Mina said shaking her hand with Jeongyeon's.
And then Jeong felt something in her body. Mina's hand was so cold. So she removed it quickly.
After that there was a silence. Jeongyeon was leaning her back against the tree beside Mina. The silence was comfortable.
But Jeongyeon was so curious about the girl. She wanted to make a conversation so she can know about the girl more.
But she doesn't know how. So she started with. "How old are you?" Mina doesn't say a word. Jeongyeon felt embarrassed so she lowered her head.
"23. You?" Mina suddenly said. "24." Jeongyeon responded with a small smile.
The weird thing is that she doesn't smile. Not even a small one. How can I make her smile? Jeongyeon thought.
The sun was setting and it was getting dark. Jeongyeon was about to go home but she stopped and asked. "How are you going home?"
"Walking."
"I can take you, I have a motorcycle parked there." Jeongyeon said pointing at it. "It's fine I'll go home by myself." Mina said and left.

The next day was like yesterday. She parked her motorcycle and walked in the park. The leaves were still falling.
And then she found her again. Leaning her back at the sycamore tree and not minding the leaves that were still falling at her face.
How the color of her hair suits the tree. How her eyes close when a leaf falls on her face. How she scrunches her nose. And how her lips always parted.
How can someone be this beautiful. Jeongyeon thought. She approached the girl.
She leaned her back at the sycamore tree. Mina didn't even spare a glance at her. Her eyes were still closed.
And they didn't talk. Not even a 'Hi' said, and when it was about getting dark the two separated and went to their places.
Day after day, the same thing would happen again till a week had passed and none of them talked. Until one day Jeongyeon asked Mina about her phone number.
"No."
"Why?" Jeongyeon said pouting. "Because you're still a stranger to me." Mina said. "I've been seeing you for almost a week."
"That doesn't mean you can have my phone number." Mina said in a cold voice. "Nothing will happen if I called or texted you." Jeong said.
"But I don't know you." Mina said.
"Then who's stopping you from asking questions about me?" Jeongyeon said crossing her arms.
Mina looked at her with unsure eyes. "Okay then tell me about you." Mina said.
"Well, I love legos, I love cleaning, I hate when someone kisses me on the cheeks, I'm not really funny and I'm from Korea. Okay I told you things about me now your turn." Jeongyeon finished and waited for Mina.
"I love ballet, I'm smart, quiet, elegant and don't like crowded places, I'm from Japan and I love Penguins." Mina said. "Interesting." Jeongyeon said smiling.
Mina was still looking at her. "Do you smile?" Jeongyeon asked. "Yeah, why?" Mina said.
"I don't see you smiling." Jeongyeon said. "Well not very much. It's been a while since I smiled." Mina said looking down.
"Oh." Was all Jeongyeon said. "So can I have your number now?" Jeongyeon asked changing the subject.
"I still don't know why you want my phone number." Mina said shaking her head. "Because, maybe we can go out sometimes." Jeongyeon said.
"Really?" Mina said with a disappointing look.
"Yeah why not."
Mina sighed and typed her number on Jeongyeon's phone. Jeong smiled at the thought of naming Mina 'The Sycamore Girl'.
And then they parted ways.
