The sun was peeking above the horizon and Haruni was getting ready for her school

"Aunty, you made all the arrangements, right?"

"Yes. She said she would be coming today by evening, but..." Sunanda was making the braid of Haruni "Why do you need a dance teacher all of a sudden?" The reflection of Haruni in the golden rimmed mirror showed that Sunanda was done with the making of the braid.

"Would explain it to you and mama when I meet the new teacher!"

Haruni picked her bag up and nodded with a smile, but she paused before exiting the main doors when she saw her mother standing at the doors of her room.

"Mama..." Haruni took a deep breath and grinned "Bye!"

Haruni's mother waved her hand and Haruni wore the jacket and left with a smile that was much more brighter than she usually had. Sunanda looked at Haruni's mother who was smiling.

"That's the first time I've seen Haru so happy while leaving her school!"

The snow-laden path felt like nothing in front of the happiness that Haruni was bearing.

Mama came out of her room to bid me!

She couldn't even suppress the feeling of euphoria that was coming back to her again and again. She jumped and hopped in happiness with every step she took and then the came the view of her school. When she reached the humongous gates, she looked up and greeted the watchmen with a smile before entering the school and both the watchmen smiled at the little round charismatic face. She had heard about the anticipation in her friend's voice when she had said-

'Winter has already come!'

Haruni didn't care much to the weather and much to the fests that were organized in those particular months. She always loved to embrace the thing that was present in the moment. But now that she had learned that her mother loved dancing, she couldn't think anything better.

"This winter fest, I am going to dance with mama!" She announced it right in front of the doors of her classroom. The freezing breath of cold smoked out the glasses of the window to an opaque slab.
