03. Past Haunts

12 years ago.( In NYC.)

It was a cold night when our airplane landed at 10.00 am . We all were here I,mom,dad and kai. I was playing  with my doll when my mom told me to fasten up my seat belt cause the plane was going to land . I was not in a good mood at that time cause when I was asleep in the plane I heard my mom and dad argue about something involved 'Mafia''Business'and 'Millions of Dollars '.I didn't know what mafia meant as cause i was just nine yearsold and as my innocent and pure soul didn'thave a single idea that what is meant by mafia..?.... . As we have arrived in our hotel my pure soul was amazed by the preparations of Xmas the color in decoration which were green,red and golden were probably revealing that Xmas is near and every thing was overwhelmed with joy..
After past 3.00 my mom send me with kyla to get ready for annual year party.i was beyond excited that this year I'm going to wear black dress not pink or white colour dress. Well I was 10 years old and I didn't like when other used to taunt me that I look like a baby in pink colour.

After getting ready kyla send me to my moms room . As I entered her room my eyes bulged out from my socket upon seeing my mother a part of me still cannot believe that I'm the daughter of this goddess looking woman.

I'm so ugly!!!!

We all were  now going towards the car because my father was waiting for us in front of the main doors.looking handsome as always.
As we reached the party i was walking besides mom ..
When suddenly my mom calls was  from behind to meet her friends and and their kids...

"She is Rim Y/n my daughter ;Mrs Kim ".she was introduced me to her friend..

"Hi Mrs Kim nice to meet you". I greeted my mom's friend.She was beyond beautiful. Her brown orbs were looking breathtaking ...after greeting her I then move to my mom's back and clutch her dress . I'm a little shy around people.

"What a gorgeous daughter you have  Chelsea . Look at her she so shy!!!". Mrs Kim exclaimed with excitement.
"Well she is my daughter . And I would love to see her grow  into a woman ". My mom replied.
"Chelsea, wait let me introduce you to my one and only son , Where is this young man ?!". My mom's friend is going to introduce her son.

After her gazing around the ballroom she then grabbed an arm behind her back and pulled the person besides her.
It was boy who looked he's thirteen or fourteen. He looked decent in the Armani suit. His facial features looked like Mrs Kim. Those brown orbs, sharp yet innocent structure of his face kept me mesmerized by his beauty. Boy oh boy he is my first crush I can feel it. I don't care if he is elder than me I'm down and I know it.

"This is Kim Taehyung, my son ". Mrs Kim spoke taking me out of my trance .

is name is just as beautiful as his face .
Your son is gonna be a player I can see that but if he really turns in to a playboy I'm not going to marry off my daughter to him ,Like we promised when I had y/n. My mom commented.

What in the world,me with this boy. God are you reading my mind or something.

Taehyung looked at me. I think he looks at soul . Trust me I feel like he is looking direct in my soul. These  captivating eyes of his are going to be the end of me .
I'm y/n get a hold of your thoughts can you hear yourself right now ,your ten and you sound like a hormonal teenager . Damn I should go outside and take a walk this all is not going the right way.
"Taehyung dear go play with y/n ". My mom said . He looked at me that looked at his mom .after seeing Mrs Kim nod, he then came closer to me and took my hand and started walking towards the balcony.

I felt weird . I feel like something soft is making movements in my stomach as I have chills running over to my adrenalicn. God this feels overwhelming.
His hand are so hard at this age yet so warm. Get a hold ...ON YOUR GOD DAMN SELF GIRL.

He was opening the door of balcony. Wait a minute we were just standing I the far corner of the ballroom. When did we got here. Ok breath ....this is really to much for a sweet innocent girl like me.

Be thankful  that your mother is not  aware of your thoughts .

Oh she would be damn to call me a hormonal teenager .well I am think like them .

"Ahemm". Taehyung  cleared his throat to seek my attention. Well it was successful.
When I looked at him,I felt my cheek flushed as he was looking at me with a slight smirk on his handsome face . Oh well looks like I've been caught red handed eyeing this fine boy.

I swear sometimes when I hear myself I feel like when I'm older enough , I'm going to be a desperate girl who  never had a boyfriend...

"Your are looking pretty y/n ". Tae said . Tae when did this happen oh Lord help this hopeless romantic girl.who is just ten years old.

I pass a shy smiled ."thanks i-" words were death in my mouth when a huge sound of blast was heard following with people scared screaming running over to the exit. Desperately I turns toward the door to go inside to look for my mother . Suddenly my hand was grabbed by Taehyung. I looked at him tears threatening to fall . Afterwards a fire broke out taking the whole ballroom in it. Fear rose in me as the thought of losing my parents hit me.

Taehyung suddenly pulled me away From  the door and close the door pushing me towards the railing of the balcony.

My back was hit from the impact , as I winced in pain. My eyes couldn't take the pain infront of me ...the fire the people running around screaming the siren , it was all to much I wanted to just  give in the pain. After some seconds I felt a figure lifting me up . The pain was to much to handle  physical , emotional and mental .

I felt my mind going numb ,as I opened them once again to see who that figure is ......it's Taehyung . I felt him  jump from the railing .the sudden jolt confirmed his landed on the ground . Afterward I could hear heavy breathing and the consistent movement ....

it felt like he's running . Then the chaos erupted for everyone with the whole venue was blown out.

As the impact made Taehyung hit the tree while I was rolling on the land...after that ......darkness took over . And I consumed it ....as the thought of this whole scenario being a nightmare was much comforting.

Though the  pain itself was too realistic....

The sound of vital machine made me regain my consciousness. The. White room was to bright fie my liking as I squeeze my eyes  shut.
Opening my eyes again I saw I was in the house infrimary.. The nightmare , mom , ballroom , fire , screaming and Taehyung....

Taehyung....h-he saved me .....
Mom where is she I want to hug her.

I jolted and sit up straight I didn't care about my pain I want to see mom . I climb down from my bed . To find my sunshine my best friend Mom.
I looked everywhere b-but I could find her at last I screamed mom many time , but no use .....I was afraid to admit the reality.

My life is gone ....she died ...I lost her .

Then darkness again took over and I wish could see Taehyung ...again ...even if it's for a short while where I scan get comfort from him.....

So so so sorry guys ....who have been waiting for the new chapters . I will try my best to upload chapter more often but I will take a break 💔 again since my exam deadline is a month away ......I just hope you all like this chapter.
