"minho you need to go to a hospital."
"i told you, felix i'm fine."
jabbing minho in his side extremely gently felix frowned when minho shrieked. "ow! son of a bitch!"
"you're clearly not." walking in with a freshly-made cup of coffee chan grinned slightly at minho's glare.
"you've probably got a broken rib-"
"even if i do, felix it's too late for this shit. i just wanna go to sleep."
setting down the cup on the coffee table chan sighed, "maybe we should just go in the morning, lix."
felix jumped up from the leather sofa, distraught pooling in his eyes, "if he's got a problem, which he clearly does, it needs to be fixed now."
"lix he's been through hell tonight let him sleep-"
"no!"
minho flinched at felix's tone, tensing up at the awkward, silent atmosphere that glazed over them.
without saying a word, chan grabbed onto felix's wrist and pulled him into the nearby bathroom. the younger aussie immediately say on the edge of the tub, body leaning forward as he refused to lock eyes with his roommate. chan shut the door gently, sitting in front of felix as soon as he heard the small click.
"what's going on?"
felix's stomach churned with a burning uneasiness. he couldn't help but envisage minho in the alleyway again - lifeless, bruised, and broken. he hated himself for not being there. minho was already in shambles, he didn't deserve this.
"it's my fault, channie ..."
"what do you mean?"
"i mean minho wouldn't have ended up like this if it wasn't for me! yes he crossed a line, but he was drunk and i could've handle the situation far better. he wasn't mugged, chan. he's only telling us that because he doesn't want to seem weak."
chan noticed felix clawing at his arms and neck. it was an awful habit of his whenever he was stressed or anxious. he's broken the skin so many times before, and chan is sure this has led to a few scars.
