Medicine and technology, two complex and fascinating sciences for the human being. Human's control over them has always been recognized and their results admired. Such powerful and important knowledge has allowed man to fight against almost any obstacle. However, in bad hands, they have the possibility of destroying everything in front of them.
D'Lune laboratories are known worldwide for their contributions to humanity, their scientific and technological advances are truly impressive. For years they have provided a variety of solutions for almost all kinds of evil.
Two young men ran and kept the business afloat, as well as the headquarters they had across the planet. Derek Lune took care of the chemical and technological aspects, he used to say that there was nothing that the human being could not do or improve. Alphonse Lavoie was in charge of the organic and traditional, his philosophy, also of the company, quoted that "the creations of man are an impulse for him, temporary, motivating but never dependent on them". With an ecological ideology, the D'Lune chain did its best to give the best at affordable prices; their products, research and discoveries used to be fully open to the public once finished. For almost a decade, the laboratories gained popularity and grew unimaginable.
However, after ten years of having founded the company, Alphonse Lavoie disappeared. According to the testimony of his partner and co-founder, he died in a terrible accident inside one of the laboratories.
Without the guidance and administration of Lavoie, the company took a different direction. Derek Lune lost much of the sales, as he focused more on the chemical and mechanical industry. Even so, years passed without scandal or accident under the new directive.
None until the fire at the New York headquarters.
