𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝚃𝚠𝚘

Y/M had dreams often about Jack... Though she had never met him before. Oftentimes she thought that he was just someone she was supposed to save... But she didn't have dreams about everyone she was supposed to save.

He was an unknown young man that she just couldn't help to have dreams about... Maybe he was someone she's seen before and this is just a grieving process of the apocalypse knowing that most people she knew are dead.

"What the hell," She sighed slipping out of her bed through a yawn. "I'm sick of this-"

"Boss we have to make a food run I'm twenty!" Y/B/F exclaimed coming in through a giggle. "I love calling you boss,"

Though she said this everyday Y/N still giggled. "Why the hell so I have to be leader?" She questioned through a sigh running a hand down her face.

"Because you're the one one that took incistive," Her friend reassured through a grin. "This also means that we can do whatever we want with all of these people following in our footsteps,"

"What if I don't want that? Look I can't protect all these people-"

"They're safer here all together than off all on their own,"

"Everything is gone for miles we're not going to find any food,"

"Don't talk like that... Things are going to work out besides I think Thorn has eyes for you,"

"Ya think?" Y/N questioned through a grin. "I don't know..."

"Oh come on he's head over heels for you,"

"I can't love anyone right now... We all needs to focus on surviving,"

"You're so lame Y/N did you know that?" But this time Y/N knew that she wasn't lame but in fact having eyes for another man.

"Y/N!" Her sister exclaimed bursting into the cabin through a toothy grin. "I miwsed yous!"

"We were only sleeping," Y/N laughed hugging her tightly. "Listen I can spend the whole day with you once I get back,"

"Yes!" And that's when Y/S/N helped her get dressed and ready to leave... Ready to find hopefully something that can help them get rid of the croatian virus.

However, their scientist Kevin so far has little to nothing that can help them, in this fight against the virus. Though they weren't going to give up... Not anytime soon at least.

Next think Y/N knew she was out in front of the cabins loading yo the trucks to get going. Though she always had hope of finding something she knew that they wouldn't get anything useful.

"Y/B/F," Y/N sighed through a groan. "You did not... You always ride with me," The leader began to pout as everyone began to laugh.

"Why the hell is our leader complaining now?" Ruby questioned through a smirk, no one knew that she once was a demon nor that monsters even existed. The only thing they knew about was croatian virus and that's only because it took over the human population.

"Look we're not going to find anything so what's the point of even going?"

"You're the leader we are just following your orders," Thorn spoke up, coming into view of everyone who was surrounding their leader. "What else are we supposed to do,"

She was going to say for them to wait and stay put, that Kevin was working on it... But in all honesty that wasn't going too well. "You're right we need to keep doing what we're doing... Hopefully it gets us somewhere," She added at the end her voice barely above a whisper.

Next thing she knew she was leading the trucks down the dirt road away from the camp and out of the edge of the woods. After the apocalypse they had set up camps in these cabins away from civilization, where none of the infected were around.

Most of them were dead anyways, still some cities were crawling with them... It was a big risk, they were simply looking for more survivors to rebuild the human race.

"So... You don't want to be leader anymore huh?" Thorn suddenly began to talk glancing Y/N's way.

"You can tell?" Y/n questioned through a groan. "I'm trying my best but I don't want to let them down," A tear escaped her eye as she gripped the steering wheel tightly.

"You're not letting us down we trust you Y/N," The raven haired man reassured taking one of her hands off the wheel and lacing their fingers together.

"Thanks... That means alot Thorn," She murmured through a blush.

"Did I get the intimidating leader to blush?" He questioned through a smirk.

"Shut up!"

She hadn't met Jack the way that she had expected... He was hurt but they didn't accidentally find him- He saved her life.

"You saved my life," She mumbled breathlessly staring at the dirty blonde haired man that had just chopped the head off of the Croatian infected person attacking her, saving her life.

"Are you alright?" He questioned holding out his hand to help her up and she accepted.

"Wait Y/N he could be infected!" Thorn exclaimed coming in between them almost knocking Y/N off of her feet.

"He saved my life," The leader explained coming up at his side it was then that she got a good look at who in the hell had saved her life, her eyes widening.

"Hello I am Jack," He explained doing the same hand motion from her dream.

"Jack you're bleeding," Y/N exclaimed as she glanced down at his white shirt to see if he had the same wound as her dream and sure enough he did. "Come with us we can help,"

"But Y/N how do we know that we can trust him?" Thorn questioned grabbing her by the arm and whispering into her ear.

"Because I just know," She snarled back in return, as they met back up with the others in the other room.

Though they had been bombarded with the infected everyone was alright, and thanks to Jack their leader was perfectly safe. Though they didn't see the infected quite often anymore it still was still a risk.

The car ride back to the camp was silent, no one dared say a word. Jack was in the back seat Y/N and Thorn in the front. They had intorduced themselves but then that was it, that was the end of their conversation. Y/N didn't know what had gotten up Thorns ass he knew that she liked helping people and usually was quite lenient on it because usually, people wanted to be saved and needed a safe place to stay.

"Alright Jack this is home sweet home," Y/N smiled stepping out of the car she had finally found this mysterious man from her dream and she wasn't going to let him go anytime soon.

"Wow... I've never seen anything like this," He gasped eyes wide in awe.

"I'll take you to the nurse and show you around a little bit... Make yourself at home Jack we accept everyone here,"

"We still up for tonight leader?" Thorn questioned pulling Y/N back as he leaned against the car.

She glanced between Jack and Thorn and gradually began to nod. "Of course,"
