My savior

It has been a year since Tenko left me, it has never been so quiet here. I miss the comfort he gave me. The nights were less harsh when i knew i had him to hold me and protect me against the darkness. Nonetheless, i survived. Stealing for one was easier when you learn to steal for two, it becomes a problem when small time cops  lurk in the area and are after you. Like today.

I walk around the market and before anyone noticed, i took a piece of bread and inconpicuously walked away. Another great loot by me. "Thief! Stop that rat!" some clerk yelled before i could get away. Or atleast i thought. Using my height i slide under a few tables as soon as i hear some cops chasing me. This could become a problem, as many footsteps are following not to far behind. In the heat of the moment i turn to a table with a pointy side, scratch my arm and let the blood fall down. I keep running till i reach a rather open spot and stop, I quickly turn a see 3 cops close behind. The trail of blood has followed me in the form of my footsteps and seems just enough to summon a cage, ain't it my lucky day. I feel my arm heat up till the point of burning but before that could happen, the heat travelled all throughout my body to me feet and seeped into the ground. The ground seemed to melt as the bricks were breaking down into merely sand and took the cops down until it reached their waist and solidified again.

It didn't really go according to plan but honestly, it's still a win for me. And i have my bread.

Finally, time to rest, or so i thought. Another pair of footsteps seem to approach me but my body made no effort to run this time as the energy has been drained from my body. The only thing i could do was stay alert. Once he stands in front of me does it take a while for the silence to be broken by him. One simple sentence was uttered from him, but it changed everything. "Come live with me."

My face tunred from an alert expression to a disgusted one, how dare he assume i would be desperate enough to offer those services to anyone. "Sorry sir, but i'm not that desperate for a home. I don't offer that kind of service." Backing up slowly, i turn and take my bread to my lonely den. The strange walks up to me again and grabs my shoulder, in a gentle way that i haven't felt in a long long time. "That's not what i meant. I want to take you in, to help you harnass that power and make you a hero. Take my hand?" His voice was gentle but his intend was rather obvious, he didn't seem to lie and my body couldn't turn away from this feeling of gentleness. It has been too long and i needed this, someone who cares for me.

I didn't hesitate before taking his hand. Maybe it was how gentle it was or maybe i was really becoming desperate but i wanted to trust him. i wanted it so badly.

"My name is Aizawa Shouta, can you tell me yours?" He turned to me after we've been walking for quite some time to his house. He seems to live close by the city. While walking i was able to look more closer to my 'companion'. His black hair looked unkept and all over the place, his eyebags tell stories about how long he's been awake. His clothes could have you saying that he has a stable job as his fashion sense isn't to bad. His face and his body don't seem to match. What a peculiar man, suddenly taking in a random street child to make her a hero.

"My name is Y/N." I spoke after a long moment of silence. He nodded at my reply and smiled. We seemed to be at his appartment. It was gorgeous. When we walked in there was a small hallway that leads to the living and dining room, his dinner table littered with papers and coffee mugs. Seems he spends quite a lot of nights sitting there. His living room is comfy yet simple, a L-formed couch witha tv in front of it and a small coffee table sitting inbetween the two object. On the right were 2 doors leading to the bathroom and toilet. Good to know where those are. On the left were two rooms. One being his bedroom, a two person bed and clothes all over the covers. He must have left in a hurry today, i wonder what he was up to. The other room was rather plain and empty. It only holds a bedframe with a mattress without a cover or blanket, a guestbedroom without any guests.

As if he could read my mind he spoke up. "From now on this will be your room, soon we can buy more things to decorate your room with. I didn't really anticipate to house someone so i don't have more than this duvet if you don't mind." The words 'your room' awoke something inside of me that i haven't felt in a long time, it felt so warm. I couldn't stop the smile from growing.

"D-did i do something wrong? Why are you crying?" His voice laced with worry although he didn't seem to want to make it too apparant. With the smile, tears followed soon after, although i didn't notice this. He took catious steps towards me and lays a hands on my shoulder to make sure i was ok. "Is your shoulder hurting? we should clean that up."

Taking my hand he leads me to the dining room and sets me on a chair while he grabs his first-aid kit. As i'm still crying and unresponsive does he just clean up my wound and checks to see if i had anymore. He discovered many other scars that were left from recent escapes. "You seem to have a gift for getting yourself in trouble i see. Your quirk is really something kid."

A small laugh escaped my lips. That brought a smile to his lips. I guess it must've been nice for him to see me warming up to him. "It's not my fault that some store clerks are such hard asses who can't spare a piece of bread." He laughed at that, it was quite comforting to hear that from him. "Sir, I-" I was cut short by another laugh. "Call me Aizawa, you live here now."

"Ok, Aizawa, I'll do my best to make you proud and make sure i'll repay you." I bow down and let more tears escape my eyes. A small pat was felt on my back and footsteps walking into the kitchen.

"Wash up. I left some clothes that you might fit in the bathroom. After that we can eat, I don't think you had much good food in a while." I walked up to the bathroom and showered. It felt amazing to be able to fully clean myself again after what must've been months by now. Rain and streams can only do so much. The water heated up my body and every scar on my body suddenly seemed to ache less. Brushing my teeth and dressing quickly i look into the mirror. My curcly hair is rather unkept and a mess, this will be a hard task to untangle. This outfit is illfitting to say the least. It looks like he cut some old jogging pants, i had to pull it rather hard to make it fit around my tiny waist. The sweater he gave me was far too big on me but i didn't mind, it kept me warm and it smelt clean. It felt like something i haven't had since Tenko left, comfort and care.

Walking out of the bathroom a strong smell hit me, roasted chicken, rice and some vegatables. The table was halfway clean, something i guess he hasn't done anytime close, and decked with plates and food. "It's not much but tried to make this meal as filling as possible, enjoy." It wouldn't be obvious to most but after observing people for so long i can tell that he really tried his very best to make this all for me. It made me feel warm inside to know that I have a home. I hope Tenko has this too, I hope he has someone who loves him and cares for him, I hope he has good meals and a warm bed and I hope that he's happy. Maybe we will meet one day again. See how well he is doing.

After the meal, we talked for quite some time. I learned that he's a hero, Eraserhead. He can erase people's quirk by looking at them, how cool is that!! He is an amazing fighter since his quirk isn't exactly combat fit, he said he'll teach me one day. He also is a teacher at the amazing hero school U.A.. I heard it's very elite. In my eyes, Aizawa himself is already an amazing hero, my savior.

When the day finally ended, Aizawa sat with me in my room, it still makes me giddy to call it that, till i fell asleep. My life has taken a turn, one i could only dream of while wispering to the stars.
