Grayson's PoV
"YOUR A HEATHEN!" Staring at the principle who's scolding myself and the jerk I was fighting with yesterday "Fighting one and other in the front of the school! Do you wish to ruin our-..." he begins angrily, the jerk sitting forward "We're a public school in the middle of nowhere. We're not exactly on the map." He interjects, scoffing I lean back so my elbow is resting on the arm of the chair "get up. GET UP! Out of my sight!" He shouts, standing I grab my bag before hurry out of the room, the jerk following, he shoots a glare my way before turning and slouching his way towards the cafeteria.
Going another route towards the cafeteria, I stop when I notice the would-be loud and lively room of hormonal teenagers is silent and tense. Entering my eyes fall on a curly black haired Male, his scarred hands clenched beside him tightly, I flinch when he turns to look at me and his eyes flash green my way, a distinctive and painful looking scar decorating his face, going across his right eye, over the bridge of his nose and down across his mouth "Grayson." He says sternly, looking around awkwardly I move back slightly, grabbing the straps of my backpack I inhale "Y-yeah... and you?" I retaliate, trying my best to sound brave despite the shaking of every single cell in my body "Come with me." He says as he gestures for me to follow before grabbing my forearm and dragging me out.
Standing beside a rough-looking old car I scowl "I'm sorry... my parents taught me never to get into cars with strangers..." I defend, using the oldest line in the book "They aren't your true parents, Grayson. Your true parents are dead." He says as he fumbles with his keys, I turn as the principle runs out, letting out a strained Yelp when the man opens the car door and throws me in before getting himself and driving off.
Getting my bearings, I push myself up, grabbing the two front seats and leaning forward "You know my parents?" I ask, shock drowning my voice "Your Mother - was my sister. Kia Wilde. You are her son, Grayson Wilde." He says, my jaw clenching briefly before I sit forward and inhale sharply: "YOUR MY UNCLE!?" I shout.
After bombarding him with questions to which he only responded with 'I'll tell you when we get off this heap of rock', I sat in the back of a dusty and scrappy car, my hands holding my bag tightly "I have to go back home... I need to say bye to my folks..." I murmur, the man looking at me briefly before his facial expression softens "You have to be quick." He says sternly before turning sharply and driving towards my house.
Bursting through my house door, my siblings jolt up and immediately sneer, their expressions changing when the man follows me in, I watch as my mum and dad turn the corner of the kitchen and immediately tense, my dad looked ready to fight but my mum only smiled weakly and held her arm out in front of her "you have to leave..." she smiles, a tear forming in her eye "He's... this... is my uncle..." I say awkwardly as I gesture to the Male behind me who's now looking around curiously "The medallion, boy. You have it?" He asks, scowling I dig into my bag before holding it up "Fantastic. Say your goodbyes, grab what you need and let's go." He says before turning and walking back towards the car.
Hugging my parents tightly I close my eyes "I'll come back... I promise... just... please stay safe" I whisper, the two holding me tightly as my siblings enter "Where's Grayson going?" My adopted brother Bruno asks "Grayson is going... home." My dad responds, closing my eyes I exhale "I won't... ever forget you.." I whisper before turning to grab a bunch of clothes and other essentials.
Falling into my uncles car I move so I'm sat upright "Let's go." I say when I notice the impatience look repeatedly spreading across his face.
Watching him pull up to a large warehouse, he jumps out the car and pulls the door open, a black metallic space-ship sitting hooked up to a bunch of computers "I've waited for that signal for eons. I thought you was dead." He says as he pulls the plugs out of the ship "We need to get as far away as possible. Because if I saw the signal, then it's likely a lot of others did." He explains whilst throwing a bunch of shit into the ship "Others..?" I ask, his eyes locking into mine briefly before he nods "Get in." He says sternly.
Fumbling with the belt buckle as he sets himself in the pilot seat and begins to start up the engine. My eyes wandering over the advanced technological screens set out before him "Lets roll." He hums before pulling off of the earths ground and ripping up through the sky.
Unbuckling the belt now we're out of earths atmosphere, my uncle stands after putting the ship in autopilot. Looking down at a picture of my family as I sit on the bed in the far corner of the ship "Now, introductions: I'm Lee Wilde - Your uncle. I was sent to earth to await your signal, the thing that happened when your touched the medallion. You and three others were shot off across the galaxy when you were babies because of what you are. You are an elemental. Your from planet Maki, a near extinct planet of four divided groups. The fire clan, the water clan, the earth clan and the air clan." He explains as he paces back and fourth "You are the elements of fire." He says now "I'm... an element." I mumble "Element incarnate. All of our people - well the ones that are still alive - are able to manipulate elements they were born to. So if you was born In earth, you can manipulate the earth and such. It takes training and practice but once you can do it, your very powerful. And basically your the king of the fire division. Your the element." He continues, sitting forward I rest my head in my hands "And we was sent away because...?" I drag on "Once together, the four of you are invincible. Your powers can be used to destroy and conquer planets and thousands of species are out to claim you as part of their army." He explains, nodding slowly I lean back "Nope... I'm done..." I say as I raise my hands and close my eyes.
