~ a few years later ~
Authors PoVMusic blared through the ship, travelling through it entirely. With his star-gazer mask on and his commander jackets collar turned up, Grayson danced cheerfully around the cockpit, slamming his hands on the walls and desks with his eyes shut whilst his crew watched silently. Behind them Lee stood with his arms folded over his chest "Grayson Wilde, the Ren of space." He mumbles, his brows furrowed as the crew turn to face him "Ren...?" Dayna asks Lee in confusion "Ren... the guy out of footloose? Come on people get with earths society." Lee retaliates enthusiastically.
Grayson turned suddenly and froze, the music still playing loudly. The air was tense for a moment before Grayson continued dancing this time more enthusiastically and approaching his friends and crew "This is... very uncomfortable." Elijah mumbles, Grayson laughing in response, his movements seizing as the alarm for the entering of an atmosphere sounds "A planet? It's Been a good few months..." Grayson mumbles as he turns to face the glass looking out to a brightly coloured planet.
Grayson's pov
Pulling my star-gazer down I stare at the planet through the glass "It's mostly plant life... but theres a percentage which is miscellaneous..." I mumble before pushing my gazer back up and turning "We'll settle down on the planet, split up and scam the planet." I say, walking towards the back of the ship I inhale as they follow.
Picking the lighters set out on the table up I tuck them into my pockets "You still haven't finished that flame-thrower?" Buck asks, shaking my head I clench my jaw "I'm not building a flame thrower, it's thermo-gloves. They go up in flames so I can control them." I explain, hearing the alarm get louder I close my eyes "Dropping in three, guys." Lee says as he stares at the screen.
Pressing my hand to the button, the hanger door of the ship opens as we descend to the ground "Alright people. Keep your signals and radios on you at all time." I say before cautiously walking off towards a separate direction from the others who are doing the same.
Looking up as the sun of this planet begins to fall behind the horizon I hold my lighter tighter in my hand "alright... nighttime here we come." I whisper. Standing at the side of a bright illuminated tree I stare at a reptile-like creature who's hanging on a branch flashing "You creepy little fucker." I chuckle, flinching when I hear a rustle I turn, my lighter held out with the flame lit "Hey!" I shout, pushing my lighter back into my jacket before taking off into a sprint after the person who was behind me a moment ago.
Jumping over a rock I continue to run after the unknown species. Freezing just as the person turns to face me, his bow held pointed towards me, his ice white eyes locked into my emerald ones "H-hey... no need for the weapons..." I defend, holding my hands up I let out a shaky breath "You shouldn't be here! You are one of those ArcSTAR people!" He shouts, scowling I tilt my head "ArcSTAR...?" I ask in confusion, ducking when an arrow is shot at me I move to the side, pulling my lighter out, the flame enlarges and coils around my arms, the Male jilting back and staring in shock.
Standing silently opposite the male who's pacing back and fourth, his eyes staying locked onto the fire that's rippling casually around my arm and now coiling down my left leg "What are you?" He asks sternly, glancing up to the sky I return my gaze to the Male "Grayson Wilde. Commander of the star skipper. And you?" I respond quickly, the Male pushing his black hair back "I am Felix Octurna of the Oluran species. The eldest son to the chief of Olura." He says, his voice stern and solid "Must be nice." I mumble "You didn't answer my question. I asked What you was, not who you are." He sneers, moving to the side I keep my eyes locked onto him "I'm the fire element of the remaining Maki Race." I say honestly, confusion washing over his face.
Hearing my radio make a static sound I tense, Felix jerking back in reflex at the sudden noise "Aye, Wilde. You best come here." Listening to Bucky I return my gaze to Felix "Am a little busy here, Buck." I respond quietly "Yeah... well we just found an entire village so." He responds, Felix standing upright at that, with one quick movement he's running through the woods again, following him immediately, the flames go out.
Sliding down a path, my footsteps causing the ground to beam neon colours "Well... that's new..." I murmur, stopping as the village comes into view, Felix running through the centre of it "so much for uninhabited..." I breath before taking off after him, the locals staring at me in bewilderment before following, their bows and machetes held out in case.
Coming to a violent stop at the side of Jezebel who looks tense, Bucky and Elijah looking at me whilst Lee and Dayna are up against a wall with an arrow pointed towards their throats "Hey! hey, hey.. we don't want no trouble." I say immediately after noticing my uncle and friend in dangers way "Why are you here." I'm assuming the chief of the village asks, Felix by his side now "Father, he is a maki element or something?" Felix says, the chiefs eyes widening as his pupils dilate "A surviving maki. And an element at that.." he whispers, Lee leaning forward slightly "You know of them?" He asks, clenching my jaw I hold my lighter out just in case "Four of the most power species to be born. Created from the four main elements and formed incarnate. I believed it to be a myth." He explains, inhaling I look down "And you are which?" He asks "Fire." I say, "The leader... the flame element.... impeccable..," he whispers "At ease soldiers. But I am intrigued to know why your on Olura." He says, clearing my throat I nod "Of course..." I mumble.
