The last day of break was almost the same as the first, only I didn't have as much to do. I got into an argument with Ryu about him trying to dump so much work on me on my days off since he originally expected me to stay up till past midnight working on my summer performances, so he ended up canceling one of my interviews. Still, I stayed up later than I would've liked to, working on planning for performances and dance routines.

In the morning, while I was getting ready for school, Ryu told me that he would like it if I rescheduled the interview he had to cancel from the day before to tonight. I told him no, obviously, but he seemed extremely annoyed by this, saying that I was ignoring my career. I think after planning, and watching, the sports festival's performance, Ryu realized just how much I was missing for school. So now, he wanted me to make sure that I wasn't going to lose popularity, with me not doing any concerts and making very few guest appearances on shows. It annoys me that he wants to consider this stuff now after I've realized how great having a normal life is. Well, as normal life can get for a hero course student, but still. It almost feels like Ryu's now trying to take that away after seeing how it could hurt my singing career.

Anyway, after the stress-filled, two-day break from school, we were back. On the way to school, I was stopped a few times by whoever was on the street, them telling me good job and how I'll make a great hero. A few times, major Nora fans, said that they reminded them of Nora. Those people also told me that I was the person who was the possible true identity of her, which I quickly denied every time.

"So many people talked to me on the way here!" Mina exclaimed as we sat around in the classroom, waiting for school to actually start.

"Yeah, me too!" Kirishima added.

"You won't believe what a bunch of elementary school kids yelled at me," Sero said.

"Nice try?" Tsu suggested, causing Sero to groan.

"I got stopped a ton of times on my way here, and some people on the train I was on recognized me, too," I said, conveniently leaving out how people asked if I was Nora. I was just going to let someone else bring it up.

"Oh yeah, did you see that rumor roaming around the internet?" Hagakure asked me.

"What one?" I questioned, acting like I didn't know what she was talking about. Of course, I knew she was talking about the rumor about Nora and me, but I thought that maybe if I said I didn't know about the rumor, it would help convince my classmates that it wasn't true.

"People are saying that you're Nora," Mina answered, waving her arms around. "It's crazy, imagine if it was true! ...Wait, is it true? I know Nora denied it in one of the interviews on the radio, but it would be so cool if you actually were her."

"Yeah. It would be cool." I replied with a forced laugh. I wanted it to sound like I thought this was all a joke and that there was no way it could be true. But I did feel bad for lying to my classmates, but what other choice did I have? Telling them I was actually Nora, that's out of the question. "But it's not. I mean, if I was a famous singer, why would I need to become a hero? And don't singers have super busy schedules? I would not want to deal with that."

"Yeah, I guess." Mina shrugged. "But some of the stuff I saw online made a good point. You and Nora look super similar. Like, exactly the same."

"And you both have the same quirk." Hagakure pointing out. "You could just not be allowed to tell us."

I shrugged, "I guess that's true. If I really was Nora, which I'm not," I added quickly. I had to say whatever I could to convince them that the rumors weren't true. "I probably wouldn't be allowed to tell you anything." Mina was looking at me suspiciously, and I assumed Hagakure was doing the same. It made me a little nervous. They seemed to relieve these rumors. I didn't know what else to say. And I thought that if I said anything else, it would only make them more suspicious. Luckily, Aizawa walked into the room and Mina and Hagakure weren't able to ask any more questions.

"Morning," Aizawa said simply as he walked to the front of the classroom.

Everyone was in their seats and responded, "Good morning Mr. Aizawa."

"Mr. Aizawa, you don't have your bandages anymore, that's good." Tsu pointed out.

"The old lady went overboard in her treatment," Aizawa replied. "Anyways, we have a big class today, on hero informatics."

It was clear that everyone was on edge when he said that, including me.

"You need to pick out hero names," Aizawa said.

The class erupted in cheers at his words. I looked down at my desk, 'Hero names, I haven't thought of anything. When I become an official hero, I was just going to use my stage name. But if I do that here and now, then everyone will know that I'm a famous singer, so I can't do that.'

Aizawa activated his quirk, his hair rising above his head and his eyes glinting red, causing the class to go silent and sit back down. He deactivated his quirk before continuing, "This is related to the pro hero draft picks the last time we were in class. Normally, students don't have to worry about the draft yet, not until their second or third year, but your class is different. In fact, by allowing first years to get offers, pros are investing in your potential. Any offers can be canceled if their interest in you dies down before graduation."

"So you're saying we'll still have to prove ourselves even after we've gotten recruited?" Hagakure asked.

"Exactly. Now, here are the totals for those of you who got offers." Aizawa pressed a button and a screen popped up, showing who got offers from pro heroes. "In past years it's been more spread out, but there's a pretty big gap this time."

'Woah, Bakugo and Todoroki got a ton of offers. And a lot of people didn't get any offers.' I thought as I scanned the board. My eyes widened as I found my name with over 1000 offers.

"That's not fair." Kaminari groaned.

"Todoroki got more than Bakugo?" Jero said.

"Yeah, it's the opposite of how they placed in the festival," Kirishima added.

"They probably weren't very excited about working with the guy who had to be chained up at the end," Sero suggested.

Bakugo heard them and turned around to yell at them, "If I scared a pro, they're just weak!"

"Despite these results, everyone will be interning with pros. Even those who didn't get any offers." Aizawa said. "You've already experienced combat with real villains during the attack on USJ, but it'll still be helpful to see pros at work up close in the field."

"And we need hero names for that," I concluded, a small smile on my face.

"Things are getting a lot more fun," Uraraka added.

"Your hero name will most likely be temporary, but take them seriously, or-" Aizawa was interrupted when the door slid open.

"You'll have hell to pay!" Midnight finished, walking into the room. "What you pick today could be your code name for the rest of your life. You better be careful, or you'll be stuck with something utterly indecent."

"She's got a good point. Midnight is going to have final approval over your names." Aizawa said, as he reached under the podium and grabbed his sleeping bag. "It's not my forte. The name you give yourself is important, it helps reinforce your image of the hero you want to be in the future."

Whiteboards were passed to everyone in the class. I grabbed mine and stared at it for a minute, 'What should my hero name be?'

-Author Note-

First, I need some ideas for Noriko's hero name. I can come up with something on my own, but it would be really nice if you guys could give me some suggestions. Something like this usually takes me forever to come up with, since when I find one name, I don't think it's good, and then I can't find another.

Second, we hit 25k reads! This feels like a huge accomplishment, so thank you all for reading this story. Honestly, I usually don't think my writing is that good, but the fact that so many people read and enjoy reading my stories had changed my mind. Usually, I'm not one to like sharing my writing, especially stuff like this, but I'm so glad I did.

Third, I made a new cover! You probably saw it, but I think it looks much better than the old one. So that's nice.

Anyways, hope you have a good day, see you next week.
