(Garu pov)
It was just another a normal day in sooga village or so he thought. Garu did what he usually did on a sunny day but it still felt off somehow, So he decided to make a mental checklist. Wake up, check
feed the cat, check
eat breakfast, check
meditate, check
run from pucca, check
spar with abyo, check
run from pucca, check
eat at the Goh-Rong noodle house, check
run from pucca again, check
fight tobe, nope
run from puc-WAIT that's what he didn't do! He never actually saw tobe the entire day! He wasn't even at the go-wrong. He always shows up at the exact same Time during lunch He'd better find him before he can carry out his plans for "vengeance". Garu stood up from sitting on a tree stump and started to head towards the town cautiously. Garu started to walk onto the path bur stopped. He could just barely hear coughing and stood still for a second then he heard it again. He heard it again to his right and ran in the direction as quickly as possible, the closer he got the more painful the coughing sounded, he could hear wheezing and the smell of blood overwhelmed his senses than in a small clearing he saw it. There was a body laying on it's back but it's head facing away from him. There was a puddle of blood under the body and, god there was so much of it. He could tell they were still alive by the wheezing sound coming from them, but for how long. The person had long black hair that looked like they just got out of bed, garu couldn't tell who they were but that didn't matter, he had to save them before it was too late. Garu ran over to the person and dropped to his knees next to them to check just how severe their injuries were. When he finally got a good look at there to to to to face he saw pale skin and an x shaped scar just above there nose and quickly just who this person was. It was tobe. His sworn enemy, the very person who wanted to ruin his life, was laying in front of him on the verge of death.
