He sighed and looked worriedly at the nurse she picked up the popsicle stick off the ground and threw it in the trash. grabbing a new one she looked back at tobe
Nurse: "let's try that again shall we?".
about 20 minutes after what happened with the nurse a doctor came into tobe's room with a guest.
Doctor: he's just in here garu, and just to warn you he may still be a bit loopy from the medicine he took earlier.
Garu nods at the doctor and walks into the room. Tobe had plenty of flowers and cards on his little table, but it was easy to assume they were all from his ninjas and/or one of the new people in town who felt bad for him.
Tobe was just staring at the ceiling spacing out or deep in thought Garu didn't know, but he was just glad to see Tobe was somewhat ok. Garu walked up to Tobe and taped him on the shoulder to Wich he flinched out of fear and Garu immediately felt bad. Tobe looked at him with a half smile and waved slowly at garu.
Garu waved back at Tobe and sat on a chair next to him as a wave of relief washed over him and he let out a breath he didn't even know he was holding. Tobe took out some paper an a pencil and wrote on it
Garu -"how are you?"-
Tobe reads it slower than Garu expected but when he was finished he put two thumbs up and looked really cute somehow. Garu shook his head slightly, he had to focus. Garu flipped the paper over and wrote something down again.
Garu -"what happened to you?"-
When Tobe read it this time he seemed scared but made a clawing motion with his hands at his throat.
